This is more for the customer service at buyagift.

I bought an afternoon tea @ Veenos in Chester. They had a water leak and cancelled my booking.

Turns out Veenos Chester has now shut down permanently without notice but as they had already took I couldn't re-use.

Tina @ buyagift could see all my correspondence and that my voucher was showing as used clearly wasn't and credited my account no problem.

This was a lovely experience last year with the falconer ! Kept everyone involved in what he was doing, also his experience in handling the birds was brilliant ! We all had a great time and viewing these amazing raptors at close quarters, I’d recommend to anyone !

Start with that there was no way to redeem a code on website after using qr code. Untill a friend gave me a website that was completely something else that redeemed the code it was called carechaseherouse
On top of it , one car avilable only, if you want any other cars have to pay exstra from £15 to £50.
I hope I never get gift from this company again.

Without doubt, the worst company I have ever dealt with. Had a gift voucher bought for us by our son and his partner, we found a hotel in the Cotswolds for a two night stay. When we tried to book we were told that the only dates available were in December, problem was our voucher expired in September so the hotel wouldn’t accept our booking! Tried to extend the voucher online with little joy, kept saying ‘unable to extend’ no phone number speak to somebody, and if you can’t type at the speed of light you are cut off on their bot chat after 5 minutes. If you are thinking of booking an experience or holiday, please, please do your research and do not use this company, nothing but hassle and rip off.

Phoning them direct redirect me back to BUYAGIFT website. This has gone on for days. BUYAGIFT message me with valueless words with no positive action. I can't call them and their promise to call me didn't happen! DISASTER

Honestly 1 star is generous, if I could give zero i would. We have a £200 voucher for a supposed 2 night get away. You need to pay more money (usually the actual cost of the hotel to book the hotel) on top of the money paid for the voucher. It's an absolute scam. Besides most hotels they have on their system are shit. There is zero reason to even go to them. Doesn't matter how far in advance you try and book or the location or anything. It's disgraceful

Their AI chat is useless and when the customer service online chat closed they dont even tell you!! They dont have a phone number or email address to contact them. Would not buy from them again. I am down a birthday gift and still out of pocket.

They make it very difficult to get a refund on an order. No contact number and a useless AI chat which loops. Struggling to get a refund after 40 minutes. I would buy from Virgin which has great customer service. I would absolutely avoid Buyagift in the future.

Update: After trying for 4 hours, still no refund. They have responded to this review more quickly than I have had any sign of getting a refund or I have been able to get hold of anyone.

I wish I could give zero stars; I will never use this service again, and I strongly recommend avoiding them. You cannot call to speak to anyone since they do not accept phone calls. On January 12th, I was informed in writing that I would receive a refund within 3 to 7 working days, but I have yet to see it. I've emailed numerous times, providing all necessary evidence. Four days later, on the 16th, I received a message indicating my issue was with the support team, reference 2860829, along with an email from a representative. I provided additional information but have continued to ask for a timeline on when my money will be refunded, warning that I would leave a negative review if this was not resolved. Unfortunately, I have received no replies to my emails. This service lacks proper customer support and owes me £144. Today, I received an automated email asking about my experience, which was cancelled and did not occur! This treatment is appalling, and I am extremely frustrated with this service. Edited:

What actions are you taking right now to resolve this? I have already shared my complaint reference above and expect a clear response regarding when my refund will be processed. I have documentation via email and chat confirming that my refund was initiated on the 12th. Please explain why my money has not yet been returned.
