I bought two mystery boxes, the SheCapricorn box and the Kids Toy box, and I am very dissatisfied. Both boxes were advertised as surprise packages with individually wrapped items, akin to opening several mystery gifts. However, that is not what I received. The contents of both boxes arrived loose inside.
Nothing was wrapped.
There were no individual surprise items.
It turned out to be just a collection of random products. The quality of what was inside was also very poor. The toys and items were cheap and low-grade, reminiscent of what you might find on discount sites or dollar stores. None of it is suitable for use or gifting. What adds to my disappointment is that the influencer unboxing videos I've seen on various social media platforms display people unwrapping individually packaged items and receiving much better products than what I got. There is a significant and noticeable gap between what is showcased in these promotional unboxings and what is actually delivered to paying customers. This raises serious concerns about whether influencer boxes are prepared differently than the boxes sold to the general public. This is troubling because customers are misled into thinking they are buying a curated mystery experience, while in reality, they are receiving random filler stock thrown together in a box. Given the price charged, this is unacceptable and does not align with what was promised. Caution is advised. Do not spend your money here.
I bought two mystery boxes, one themed for adults and another for kids, and I am thoroughly let down. Both were advertised as surprise packages with individually wrapped items, resembling the joy of unwrapping several gifts. However, what I received was far from that. The contents were all loose within the boxes, and there were no individual packages at all. It felt like just a random assortment of items. Additionally, the quality was shockingly poor. The toys and products appeared to be low-grade, akin to what you might find on budget websites or in discount stores. None of it was suitable for gifting. It's even more disheartening given that the influencer unboxing videos I've seen on various social media platforms showcased beautifully wrapped items and better-quality products than what I received. There’s a stark contrast between the promotional content and the reality for paying customers. This raises serious doubts about whether influencer boxes are prepared differently from those sold to the general public. It's concerning that customers are misled into thinking they are receiving a curated mystery experience, while in reality, they are just getting random filler items. For the price point, this is unacceptable and does not match the advertisement. Buyer beware—this is not worth your money.
Upon receiving my order, I noticed that most packages had already been opened and resealed. The labels were identical, suggesting that someone had previously received and opened these items before reselling them. In my box, there was a significant mismatch; the outside indicated garden lights, but inside was broken protective panelling for a bike. It seems like someone thought it would be amusing to throw in a random, broken item just to fill the box. Many of the items appeared to originate from budget retailers.
There should be an option for zero stars. I was sold approximately 15 items, but they were all undelivered packages, returns, and overstocked goods. Complete rubbish! I received 100% returns in two boxes purchased days apart, all from the same seller. This highlights the poor quality of the products; the seller doesn't even bother picking up the junk to resell. Don't be fooled by online videos showing items worth more than $6. Each box contained only 10 items, and while one was scanned as 10kg, it only weighed 4.2kg, and the other was 5kg but weighed only 5kg. The total value was barely $120, and if sold, you wouldn't even get $50.
