I've been on the Going mailing list for many years, way back when it was still known as Scott's cheap flights. Often they had great deals, and were super helpful with with emails with traveling tips. Unfortunately, for a while now they have only US airports to travel from, and I don't reside there any more - so when I accidentally purchased their premium account, I contacted them and they were super expedient in refunding me. Probably the fastest customer service I ever encountered.I'd totally recommend them, especially if you're based in the US.
While I like getting the alerts, I have not yet actually been able to use any of them to make flight reservations. As a premium subscriber, I don't understand why I cannot see alerts for other than basic economy tickets, which I never use for flights of any length such as to Europe. Also, I would like more ability to filter alerts and to group alerts together to avoid multiple alerts.
They published a "mistake" fare to India which saved me 100's of $s. If a person is patient and has flexibilty, you'll be alerted to some great options to be had if you can decide quickly.Even with not so much patience/flexibilty you'll be alerted to good bargains.
At a point in our lives when we want to travel a lot. Not sure where we want to go, and finding low fares somewhere we’d like to go soon is a nice thing. Had a trip planned already to Hawaii, and I bought the flights when a deal came through.
