I reached out to the byclick support more than ten times and none want to support. Horrible behaviour and just dont care once they get money.
Dont buy as you wont get any service
I have Byclick Premium on my old laptop, this has always worked well. I bought it again for my new laptop, however when you try to activate your premium code their is no option to do this , I sent 3 emails so far and keep getting the same response, upgrade to the newest version, still no joy.
If I could give zero stars I would, I downloaded the Premium client just a month ago and since then it has twice gone down with messages like "Reconnecting" when it is actually frozen. The latest one is "Failed to Retrieve" . Customer service is virtually non existent as is the response time to putting it right. My advise? Stay well clear, there are other options out there
crashes regularly, no support whatsoever, more trouble than what its worth. dont be scammed by their web information, looks glossy but just a con to suck you in, then your frustration begins, DO NOT buy this inferior product, the company is a scan and probably owned by an individual that works out of a shed
Used to be a great piece of software, but now it's a nightmare to use. most of the time the Youtube downloads fail, that is if it manages to connect in the first place.Customer support is non existent, no reply even after repeated requests for help.Stay clear, it has become a frustrating piece of junk
I've been using the Byclick downloader for five years and have always been very satisfied with it. I especially appreciate the ability to choose the file format and quality, and the option to download entire channels or playlists. The development team has also always responded very quickly to changes on YouTube.Only in the last few months have there been some issues that haven't been resolved promptly. The purchase price has long since paid for itself.I hope the current problems can be resolved quickly, as I've always been an enthusiastic user and would hate to give up this fantastic tool.-----------------------------------------------------------Den byclick downloader verwende ich seit 5 Jahren und war immer sehr zufrieden damit. Besonders gefällt mir, dass man das Dateiformat und die Qualität auswählen kann und man die Möglichkeit hat, ganze Kanäle oder Playlisten herunterzuladen. Auch hat das Programmiererteam immer sehr schnell auf Änderungen bei Youtube reagiert. Erst in den letzten Monaten kam es zu Problemen, die nicht zeitnah behoben wurden. Der Kaufpreis hat sich längst mehr als amortisiert.Ich hoffe, dass die aktuellen Probleme schnell gelöst werden können, denn ich war immer ein begeisterter Nutzer und möchte ungerne auf dieses fantastische tool verzichten.
I am a "satisfied" new user of your ByClickDownload v2.4.27 product. However, it appears that two important files in this version ("ByClickDownload.exe" and "UpdateV2.exe") contain a virus named "Win.Malware.Acapulco-10012405-0". The virus is detected by virustotal.com. If the virus detection is a false positive, it is recommend contacting ClamAV and requesting that they update their software to prevent a downgrade or misrepresentation of the software. Furthermore, both files contain an outdated certificate. Please note: ByClickDownloader removes critical reviews from their own platform review page, and their support department doesn't respond to emails!
