Review Time
I bought the "lifetime" membership about 3 years ago...and this site worked really great for about 6 months, and then about every month (or every other month) after that, it would always quit working for some reason or another. the last six months of owning it has been horrible..everything from uploading videos with no sound, to videos not uploading at all. the NEW problem is, it will ONLY upload a video for 5 seconds, and then shut off!!! This has been going on for over a week now. I now had to purchase an uploader from a different company, so that I can continue my work....
The latest version is hopeless, Instead of first downloading the raw files and then converting video and audio into mp4, it now produces very large MEI folders which stay in my %temp% folder. The final output mp4 video has gaps in it which is hopeless for music videos.I have had no useful help received, I requested help several times. Bots are telling me to update to the latest version which I already have. This latest version is hopeless and I do not know how to revert to a previous version.
Still waiting on a reply from my email where I asked to get my money back (as they promote a 30-day money back guarantee). Been ignored for the last 11 days even though they advertise that they answer within 24 hours and usually much less.Software constantly crashes and is a time waster.
Been using this software successfully for 2 or 3 years. It worked so well, I finally paid for the "lifetime" subscription.It has now stopped working!!!Emails go unanswered. I hope they are working on this new problem. Online conversion with "ytdown dot io" appears to work.
I used to use RealPlayer but had to download each video individually. I discovered Byclick and had been burning up Youtube for over 6 years around the clock. It way awesome, just press one click and download a whole channels. There would be some problems around updates abut work itself out in a few days. A few days ago it stopped working and will not redownload. Think they finally went belly up.
The last time I was looking for a way to download video from YouTube, I got into awful stuff. Browser extensions that break, complicated apps, and free services covered in ads and spam. I've been a Byclick user for over 6yrs, and their service has been steadily reliable as they constantly update the coding to help clients bypass each new roadblock. While AI makes this process even more challenging as time goes on, I commend the Byclick Team for always successfully solving each new bypass puzzle so that clients can keep pursuing their creative interests and projects. I’ve had this software for a year. Everytime they do an “update” there’s a problem usually downloading from YouTube, I get a reconnecting error and the download gets stuck. In past when I contacted them they were good about responding with a fix. This time I’ve sent them several emails and have yet to have heard back. When it works it great but something has changed with this company. Would not recommend!
I bought it based on a bunch of five-star reviews telling me how great it was. BUT their app simply does NOT work. And then they ask you for a product review. And if you select anything LESS than five stars, you immediately get an error msg that says "oops!" and you have to start all over again!
