Review Time
I have bought shutters (surprisingly enough!) from California Shutters a couple of times of the last number of years. The quality is always very good and the prices are brilliant! Following my last order, I had to contact Customer Services a couple of times over 2 days to get confirmation of delivery day/time etc and the assistance I received from Tom was first class. He responded professionally and swiftly to both my telephone and email enquiries and was always happy to help. I would definitely recommend this company and look forward to purchasing from them again.
We've used California Shutters before and of the different shutter suppliers we've used for different rooms over the years, CS seem to be the best overall.This time it was just a small shutter in our en-suite to replace an existing one that wouldn't fit after a remodel of the room.Overall, we're pleased with the quality of the shutter and the delivery was quick because we chose the faux-wood materials.The only minor gripe I have is that the steel keeper plates that the shutter magnets sit against when closed, are ugly and let the appearance of the shutter down a lot. I can't believe that anybody thought that they looked acceptable, when designing the overall product range. I will be taking this up with CS.Otherwise, very happy with our purchase.
We ordered our shutters and they were scheduled to be delivered 10 days later which fantastic. We received notification of delivery which was unfortunately on the day we were going away! After contacting customer service and speaking with Tom who was amazing and went above and beyond, he managed to have these delivered a day earlier and I was able to fit them before we went on holiday. Thanks again Tom great job 😁
Original 3 star review: Mostly pleased with this well built shutter, though 2 slats are not straight and it was pretty expensive for a small window. Bought because I’ve been pleased with purchases from sister company previously.Revised to 5 stars. On submitting the above, California Shutters immediately contacted me to rectify the situation - great customer service - thank you!
