After a terrible experience ordering from a competitor. I called Cambridge in the hope of a miracle. That miracle came in the form of Luke. After explaining my experience to Luke, he reassured me that he personally quality checks every piece of glass in and out of their warehouse. He sent me photos on WhatsApp of our glass. Ensured it was fully protected and packaged unlike our last experience. Then sent photos of the glass packed and on the delivery vehicle. Luke even messaged me on his day off after he followed up with transport personally and messaged me to confirm delivery would be made on that day. The glass was perfect, no marks and fit like a glove.
Thank you Luke for all the help and restoring my faith in customer service.

Possible Causes of Spontaneous Shattering of skylight:Manufacturing Defects: Flaws in the glass during production can weaken it, making it susceptible to shattering.Can you provide your evidence the " the damage was consistent with site activity rather than a product fault."?I bought 3X1 m Cambridge sky light, which stayed only for a few days before it completely shattered without any sign of external damage, the company refused to admit it was a manufacture fault and refused to compensate for the loss.
I've just installed two skylights from Cambridge Skylights. They were well packaged and delivered as promised. Installation instructions were clear and easy to follow and fitting them was relatively easy. Now in place they look very good and introduce a lot of natural daylight into my kitchen, which was previously rather gloomy.
