your sales and quoting process is very frustrating. I don't know how you're still in business if you treat customers this way. I setup a quote a couple days ago for today, apparently my job must be to sit around and wait for their calls; I couldn't accept calls while I am working and once I was available and picked up the phone the manager laid into me saying that they were not going to make the time since I didnt pick up the phone, and when I couldn't remember what they were supposed to be quoting me on she said she wouldn't be able to send anyone out at all. Obviously the manager does not know how to sell people and expects customers to sell themselves to you. If this is your sales model you may want to rethink it, you should actually go out and earn business. this was not the way to do it. Opportunity missed.
I've been waiting for an electrician to come finish the kitchen project for 2 weeks. I've left numerous messages but no one is returning my calls. I also have one cabinet which is 12 inches shorter than all of the other cabinets. I've yet to hear how that can be rectified.
If I could give this business 0 stars I would. I have had 2 different appointments set up with them. Both times they called 20 minutes before they were supposed to arrive and cancel. Horrible business practices and customer service.
After two and a half years, I am relieved to finally not have to communicate with Capital Remodeling daily (at least for a short time, until we inevitably need another warranty repair). I hesitate to post this because we still rely on their “lifetime warranty,” but people deserve to know.This company is horrific to work with. We were promised a high-quality kitchen in two weeks (March 2023). Instead, a low-quality kitchen was finished only about a month ago.They misrepresented themselves from the start: permits were not filed unless we forced them, they subcontracted (despite saying they didn’t), and many workers were untrained. When we complained about quality, we were offered $3,000 in exchange for our signatures and silence—not to post reviews. This offer came after two years of ignored texts, emails, and calls. DO NOT trust positive reviews—they pay customers not to post.Examples of failures: our island was not connected to the floor; granite countertop lacked proper support; gas line was incorrectly hooked up; tiles popped up twice due to improper subflooring; and an electrician failed to ground wires, creating a shock hazard. Installation was sloppy. Workers left doors open all summer, raising our bills, and staff like Ozzie, Jon, and Rick were rude and unresponsive.We hired a third-party contractor who confirmed all issues, yet Capital Remodeling ignored warranty requests for months until we threatened legal action. The fixes they finally offered were low quality and temporary.This company caused immense stress and delivered a kitchen not worth the cost. PLEASE do not hire them. You could do better watching YouTube tutorials.
Come on, is this company living in the dark ages?? Why is it mandatory to have ones 'spouse' or significant "other" present during a visit for quotation?? My Partner owns the property, and 'Ashly' "DEMANDED" that I also attend even if I have nothing legally to do with the property.This is sexist, racist, and plain idiotic behavior from a 'reputable' company. Whats wrong with you?? Can't a women make decisions by herself?? what legality do you refer to that states that both parties must be present, when One of the parties clearly owns the property to 100%?Do you not believe in that a 'women' can make her own decisions and sign contracts by herself??Seriously, how many people [families] have you scammed into believing that only the male of the species can make decisions, and that the Female is inferior and should stay in the kitchen and serve the Male with all means possible?You should be ashamed of yourselves - all of you at Capital Remodeling, Inc in Hanover Maryland, or maybe all the Females at Capital Remodeling, Inc are subservient in every possible way to the Male owners......Don't have any business with this company as they don't respect women at all…..
