Had a really positive experience with mortgage advisor Thomas Boughton. Although the property purchase fell through in the end I felt well supported throughout, he was clear and transparent in his communication and he was able to provide a very competitive rate. Will be using him again in the future.
If you want to pay a higher rate and waste your money go with them !!!Jordan Smith - is the guy we dealt with and absolute nightmare - we told him we want to put 15% deposit - he locked us in with 20% deposit offer without telling us - the valuation of property came under valued forgot to inform us for weeks - it was after a month when we got the mortgage papers we saw that the property valuation and offer price were different - plus we had locked a fixed rate and on the mortgage paperwork - there was a tracker rate - and he kept saying he will fix it and did nothing - we finally gave up and went with another mortgage advisor - wasted months and the whole process was a nitemare
It was great to have had Phillip and Ross's help through the process of purchasing my first property. Really helpful explaining the process and dealing with some of the hurdles that solicitors and banks layed along the way. They made a very stressful process more bearable.
I am fortunate having Ameet as my Mortgage Agent, very polite, efficient to help proceed mortgage in such a difficult environment - crazy interest rate that not many bank offer products. It took quite awhile to finally complete The transaction of the flat (seller wait the new built complete) and while handling communication with estate agent, lawyer etc I was in USA and ameet did not mind to have call during weekend or outside Working hours (and help to chase lawyer as I also just the lawyer they rec, which also did their job - heard of so much bad things of other mates almost lost their mortgage offer as their lawyer was slow ). This kind of service is almost not found in London. Mortgage is not cheap but I really love my flat. Appreciate of your help ameet! Reasonable service fee of £250. Some might offer for free that I did hear about, but I will say it totally worth !!!
