No clear sign youve been signed up to a subscription or clearly shows you are still in it or its cancelled.
Terrible, do not use. Borderline scam.
Thought I was buying a single report to help a family member buy her first car. This sham outfit then tried to take £39.90 a couple of days later.
Fortunately, the bank caught it as a suspicious payment. I haven't been charged their nonsense payment, but have had to cancel the card (at least they won't succeed in trying again next month).
It is rare that a company's practices would intense me so much as to leave a review, but this is the worst business practice I have witnessed online, so felt compelled.
As for the clarification they offer customers they have already tried to scam: when 98% of your customer reviews are happy & 2% complain, it could be argued that your disclosures are fair. When 98% of your reviews are complaints, your disclosures are the problem.
I am beyond disgusted with this company. I paid £5.95 for what I was led to believe was a one-off car check. Little did I know, they sneaked a hidden subscription into the fine print. I just found out they’ve been taking £39.90 EVERY MONTH for the last 5 months without a single notification or receipt. Charging me for a service I never recived !
This is predatory, fraudulent, and should be illegal. They rely on tricking people into subscriptions they don’t want or need. I am down nearly £200 because of these scammers. Do not give them your card details! I will be reporting this to Action Fraud if i don't get my money back.
This is one of the doggiest website I seen out there dont know how they allow it to exist, its 100% fraud, they just charge you 40£ with no such thing showing in your invoice when you pay for the car check. Don't worry I will be contesting the transaction though 😉
If I could rate this lower, I would. This is the worst service I've encountered! I paid a one-time fee of around £5, only to find out I was charged over £30 for a subscription I never agreed to or even noticed. It's a complete scam, and I'm still waiting for a response regarding the refund I requested. Stay away from this platform!
Fraudulent Charges! Stay Away! They took £5.95 for a vehicle check report, and then just two days later, a £39.90 charge showed up on my card. I did NOT approve this payment, and my bank is investigating. I will be contacting the payment networks to have them flagged.
I really wish I had seen the reviews before falling for this scam. They charged me £39.90 for a subscription I never agreed to. They didn’t mention anything about a subscription at the time of payment. I've already submitted a refund request, but it was denied, so now I plan to reach out to my bank for assistance.
