The dates offered are dreadful

Car chase heroes experience day;The dates offered are dreadful! I think there was only 1 date in half term in 12 whole months offered. This was for my son, so needed to be in the holidays. The cars included weren’t all that great. This was a Virgin voucher, so it advertises the area as Norwich but actually it wasn’t Norwich at all. You don’t find out how crap it all is until you’ve purchased a voucher and redeemed it. They try to push selling extras, photos and rides in other cars. It’s a hard sales pitch. They hard sell the damage waiver. It was £29, they said they would come&fund us to give the £1 back as we paid £30 cash and never did. It’s this or leave you card, they want to secure £5000 in the event of an accident. However, with them holding the steering wheel and having dual controls on an airfield, if you crash it would be 100% their fault! Our time was 2-4, requesting we arrive at 1:30 but we didn’t drive until 4:30! No seating and just a poorly run ordeal. It was supposed to be fun but after maybe 5 minutes of driving, where the instructor kept his hand in the steering wheel throughout…I DO NOT RECOMMEND.Don’t book via Virgin or Car Chase Heroes!!!!!!!!!I booked 2 experience days but they ended up both being through Car Chase Heroes and the same dates, so I reached out to Virgin to say this wasn’t good. Virgin refunded me without asking for both experiences! However, I wanted to keep one of them due to me having already paid to upgrade due to the rubbish choice of cars.

Ultimate VIP U Drive…

I booked the “Ultimate VIP U Drive experience” for my sons 21st birthday. When we arrived at the brands hatch circuit we were directed by a staff member to the main large car park despite showing my “VIP” confirmation email. There was a nothing VIP about the parking and it was not any “closer to the action” as stated on the booking confirmation. Once we’d found the driver registration office there was an enormous queue all the way up the staircase and across a large room. Even though I told the staff member that I’d booked VIP tickets he told us to go and queue with everyone else. When I questioned this I was then told to go up the exit staircase instead and walk straight up to the desk that already had a huge line of people queuing for. It was pretty embarrassing to be honest as there was no VIP lane or sign so it felt like we were just queue jumping. Then my son had to wait until after 1pm to drive the first car after arriving at 10.30am. It felt very disorganised and definitely not VIP.We were not allowed anywhere near the (stationary) cars in the pit lane so we couldn’t take any pictures of our son in the car.Information was scarce - how could you know when they were out on track given they were being called through to the pits then told to wait. My son enjoyed the eventual drive of the cars but the day was a bit of a shambles and the VIP package was absolutely not worth £450

Professionalism from start to finish! I had a blast

Well, where should I start? They were very responsive to all my multiple questions on whatsapp and very polite in replying. I went to their branch in Brands Hatch and the experience was smooth from start to finish. On the day they offer you more cars they have available at affordable prices. The process is very easy and in no time you pass from the office, to the boxes and in the car ready to put the foot on the pedal. They ask for a small fee of £29 for insurance and let me tell you, each of the cars you will drive does not cost less than a hundred K of quids minimum, so it makes sense and I believe the amount is quite fair for such a peace of mind. You damage one of those cars, you will make a big whole in your bank account. Friendly and polite staff, very well organised considering it was crazy busy. The instructors are very experienced and will tutor you in how to have fun with those incredibly fast supercars, while keeping you safe from accidents. I had the chance to drive some of my dream supercars all in ONE DAY! Ferrari F599, Aston Martin F1 Vantage, Lambo Superleggera, Shelby GT500 and Subaru Rally car. I had a BLAST! At the end of the experience you can buy professional videos and pictures of the yourself behind the wheels. I used mine to create a cool post for my social media account. I have seen some bad reviews, and definetely they do not deserve them, they deserve 5 stars and even more. Yes, there are extra fees, but if you wish to do the basi experience you are free to choose, the packages online explain in details what you get on the day, so take 5 minutes of your time to read them and you can create the experience you wish according to what your wallet can afford, then leave the rest to CCH team and enjoy the ride.*Ps the extra charge of £2 for the parking is a total fake news

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Do not waste your money! Poorly ran, takes over 3 hours from arrival to drive. Once driving instructor doesn’t allow you to drive faster than your average car (ford focus, VW golf)

A Total Scam Dressed Up as a “Driving Experience”

I booked three cars — Lamborghini Spyder, Ferrari California, and Mercedes AMG GT — and arrived at 11:30 (an hour early for my 12:30 slot) expecting some queues. What I didn’t expect was the location to be in the middle of nowhere, with paid parking as the only option. No alternative parking nearby, so you’re immediately forced to hand over more money before you’ve even set foot in the place. From there, it only got worse. I spent 1.5 hours standing in the blazing sun just to sign in. No shade, no seating, just grass and heat. When you finally reach the registration desk, you’re hit with a high-pressure sales pitch: either cough up £29 for their “damage waiver” or hand over your bank details so they can bill you £5,000 for any damage — even if it isn’t your fault. Staff, especially Josie, push this aggressively using scare tactics, and even mark your card (the one given to you when you register) as “no signed waiver” for the instructor to see. Why the instructor needs to know this is beyond me, except to intimidate you further. Here’s the kicker: they don’t tell you about the actual safety measures that already make accidents unlikely — instructors have their own brakes, keep strict distances between cars, and only allow overtaking when told. Instead, they show you a board with 25+ cars and claim they’ll all be on track with you at the same time (pure fiction), just to ramp up the fear and squeeze the £29 out of you.The cars? Most are old, worn out, and poorly maintained. The AMG GT was the only one in decent shape. My “experience” consisted of hours of waiting for a few minutes of driving. Across all three cars, I was behind the wheel for less than 10 minutes in total — the rest of the time was just standing around, baking in the sun. I waited for over 4 hour.Every step is designed to upsell you — more laps, “better” cars, passenger rides, photos, videos, laps for spectators — it’s a relentless cash grab, not a genuine driving experience. You leave feeling ripped off, not thrilled. And then, as if the day wasn’t bad enough, they emailed me afterwards offering entry into a prize draw for a “6 Car All-Star Experience” — but only if I sent them proof of a 5-star review. That’s not just shady, it’s against UK consumer protection law unless openly declared — which it wasn’t. In other words, they’re trying to buy positive reviews to hide how bad the experience really is.Save your money. This place is a cynical operation that cares more about draining your wallet than delivering what they advertise. Absolutely terrible, never again

Just really poor organisation and…

Just really poor organisation and chaotic experience.Arrived at the correct time just to be welcomed by an hours queue just to register, then told to wait for your name to be called out without any indication how long it will be, it was over two hours

Total rip off

Total rip off. Waited for 3 hours for 5 minutes driving. If I could rate no stars I would have. Beware all they want is to charge for extra insurances. Waste of time and money. Zero facilities for anyone with disabilities. Made complaint and still haven’t received a reply 2 weeks later. Terrible company they should be ashamed to be associated with British Forces. Avoid this company

The only positive thing I can say is…

The only positive thing I can say is that you do actually get to drive some cars. I purchased a junior three-supercar driving experience. Immediately after paying, I then discovered that in order to drive any of the actual supercars listed as part of the experience, there were hidden additional charges. When we arrived at the venue, there was a further hidden parking charge. When we went to sign in, there was an additional charge for a waiver of a £5,000 insurance excess. Perhaps I’m naïve, but I think a company offering a service for children to drive supercars should be fully insured as standard. Then, and perhaps most importantly, the experience itself; once we arrived and had paid through the additional barriers, we were shown to the queue for the high-speed ride with an instructor. After queuing for 30–45 minutes and sitting in the car, the driver told us we couldn’t do the lap until after my son had driven his laps, and we were told to get out of the car.Potential purchasers should be aware that the time you are given is just your arrival time—not the time you will be driving. You are then shepherded to a holding area with literally hundreds of people waiting to drive. All the cars have an electronic queuing system. We then discovered my son was not due to drive a car for nearly two hours. While you wait, you are subjected to constant (this is not an exaggeration) announcements attempting to get people into cars or to wait in seats to be next in line. The organisation—using the term loosely—is not good.Overall, it was a poor experience. I strongly recommend paying for a driving experience at a real race track. We did one at Silverstone a few years ago and it was great: you arrive, get a safety briefing, go out at the time you booked, and generally enjoy a professional service.
