I had loads of interested buyers (17 all up), and it was easy to deal with them online on the Carsales chat. The whole process was seamless. I was very happy that I used the Carsales payment option. It felt much safer and more secure than any other payment method. We were able to complete the deal in the same half hour. Paperwork done, buyer funds deposited, and the money arrived instantly in my bank account. Thank you, Carsales!

You’ll be contacted constantly by dealers and receive so-called “instant offers” that are significantly below the real market value.
It ends up being a waste of time, and on top of that, you’re paying for a service that doesn’t really work in the seller’s interest.
Carsales should focus on creating a fairer and more transparent experience instead of pushing lowball offers from dealers.

This service proved to be utterly useless. I received not a single genuine inquiry, only a flood of scam calls right after posting my ad. It's appalling that my information was shared immediately after publication. Additionally, the high fees for advertising my vehicle yielded no results whatsoever. I will never invest in this type of advertisement again. It feels like a scam. I successfully sold my vehicle on a free platform instead.

It feels pointless to engage with these requests; if I wanted that price, I would simply accept the instant offer. What makes them think I would sell to them at the same price just because they reached out? I believe it would be beneficial for sellers if there was an indicator on the ad showing whether the price is negotiable.
I invested the highest amount to access features like the phone number and messaging within the app. However, while trying to communicate through the provided phone service, I encountered several dropouts, which was quite frustrating. This issue disrupted a crucial aspect of the sales process. On a positive note, the setup was straightforward, and I received a steady flow of potential buyers, averaging a couple each week. Some preferred not to use the app for communication and repeatedly requested my phone number, which raised some concerns about possible scams!
