Do not recommend— they delivered a vehicle with incorrect tire, crack on windshield, among many issues with paint damage that were not disclosed. They do not allow many complaints and do not cover glass so we’re screwed. The only remedy they suggest is a trade in which we lose thousands from shipping. Save yourself the hassle and do not buy Carvana.

I don’t know were to begin ..,so it’s my second vehicle purchase ( first went exactly perfectly) and seems because I’m buying it from a credit union every thing is going bad !
The check is mailed and I’m returning a vehicle that I have and CARVANA refused to take it back because my insurance card doesn’t have my middle name on it wow.
I have a vehicle now that was delivered and and that never was the problem until I decided to finance through different companies. The car buyers experience is not correct…

I reserved a 2021 Nissan Titan XD on December 22, 2025. I was told the preparation timeframe would be approximately 10 working days. The vehicle was not delivered until February 23, 2026.

During that time:

Multiple confirmed delivery appointments were cancelled.

On one occasion, I was notified shortly before departure that the vehicle failed final inspection due to a hood latch issue.

The financing process experienced repeated reversals tied to third-party lender information, causing additional delays.

Different representatives provided conflicting explanations.

What was most frustrating was the lack of ownership. Every call resulted in an apology, but no proactive follow-up, no clear escalation path, and no meaningful attempt to resolve the repeated scheduling failures. Escalation did not change the outcome.

This was not a minor inconvenience. It required repeated schedule changes, lost work time, and weeks of uncertainty.

Carvana markets “Better Customer Experiences.” My experience did not reflect that.

I hope leadership reviews the operational readiness and communication processes involved so future customers do not experience the same pattern.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Carvana has been so frustrating that it warrants a warning to others.
My vehicle delivery was delayed not once, but twice, for the exact same minor issue. The first delay was supposedly to address a small problem that should have been resolved promptly. Instead of fixing it properly, Carvana delayed the vehicle again for the very same issue. That is not a repair process — that is incompetence and poor internal coordination.
What made the situation worse was the complete lack of meaningful customer service. Samantha and Valerie in customer service were entirely unhelpful. Both simply repeated the same scripted responses over and over, offered no solutions, and provided no real accountability. There was no ownership of the issue, no escalation path, and no proactive communication. Just canned responses and empty apologies.
When a company delays a customer twice for the same minor defect, it signals a breakdown in operations. When customer service responds with robotic scripts instead of problem-solving, it signals a breakdown in culture.
Carvana markets itself as modern and convenient, but my experience has been the opposite — disorganized, opaque, and indifferent to customer time. If you value reliability, transparency, and responsive service, I would strongly reconsider before purchasing through Carvana. The last we left off, they rescheduled the appointment, and didn't have a solution.
Extremely disappointing.

Awful. I have “ok” credit personally & I am self employed with a LLC. Talked to two separate women -One said they found my LLC in the system while the other a week later said someone else is the owner (which they are my registered agent I use— so she didn’t know what she was reading or looking at). They had me pay the down payment before confirmation of any of these things. I would not use them even if my credit was great due to the inconsistency of stories. I think they just made up crap instead of saying this won’t work and moving on.

I went to Car Shop—- got a better rate lower with a APR and better people and traded in my car

I purchased a vehicle with 85,000 miles on the odometer. It was a very easy process to pay top dollar for this vehicle because there was no one available to negotiate the price down. I assumed with that high price it would be a thoroughly checked over vehicle. I looked at the 150 point inspection they said my vehicle went through to promise me I could have confidence in it being dropped off before I even get to drive it. During the easy process of purchasing this vehicle I usually don’t buy any of the extra drivetrain coverage but it wouldn’t let me uncheck the warranty box so I said to myself maybe this is standard for all there final sells. While not happy I was forced to pay extra money for coverage I didn’t want but to back out of the sell at this point wasn’t reasonable because the kids and I had spent a lot of time agreeing on the pictures of what vehicle we wanted. Besides I’m buying a vehicle I haven’t even driven so maybe the coverage would save me money a few thousand miles after ownership. Had I known they brought my 20,000 purchase on a flatbed because the transmission was in such bad shape it would have had trouble making it to my house. Of course after my first drive I knew something was wrong and so I started the process of getting it into one of silver rocks (Carvana) in network shops. I am about to make my first payment and my new vehicle is non drivable and now in a out of network shop hopefully getting fixed. I believe had I just backed out and told them to take the vehicle back they would have taken it in the same condition to the next unaware buyer. After trusting repair promises from Carvanas in network shops my money back guarantee ran out. I didn’t get a rental car because they don’t actually provide a rental. You are only getting your money back for the supposedly provided rental if you pay for it out-of-pocket and afterwards they may approve it. Luckily I didn’t trade in my old vehicle or I would be screwed. Forced to pay for a rental. I wouldn’t say get a vehicle and drive it a bunch to make sure that Carvana isn’t screwing you over. I would say don’t go to Carvana at all and stick with your local dealerships. At least they have a reputation to uphold at your local dealership instead of somebody you can call in another state that you have to explain what’s going on with your non drivable vehicle every time you reluctantly call.

I purchased a Toyota 4Runner with approximately 16,000 miles from Carvana, which was delivered to my home. The day after delivery, I removed two stickers that had been placed on the inside of the windshield. After removing them, I discovered a dime-sized chip in the windshield consistent with rock damage. One of the stickers had been placed directly over the damaged area, effectively concealing it.
I reviewed the vehicle’s condition report on Carvana prior to purchase, and this windshield damage was not disclosed. Additionally, the vehicle was delivered with a damaged windshield wiper blade, with partially torn rubber hanging loose and not functioning properly.
I reported both issues to Carvana. Despite advertising a 150-point inspection, Carvana classified the windshield damage and broken wiper blade as “normal wear and tear.” I strongly disagree, especially given the vehicle’s low mileage and the fact that the windshield damage appeared to have been covered with a sticker.
Carvana denied my claim with no further recourse and provided no contact information for escalation. I believe this reflects a lack of transparency in their inspection and disclosure process.
Desired Resolution:
I am requesting reimbursement or repair for the undisclosed windshield damage and replacement of the damaged windshield wiper, or other fair resolution consistent with Carvana’s inspection and disclosure promises.

BEWARE OF BUYING A CAR FROM CARVANA. IF YOU DO, YOU MUST GET NOT ONLY A REGULAR VEHICLE INSPECTION FROM A MECHANIC SHOP BUT ALSO A MAJOR ENGINE INSPECTION, (this usually runs about $100 which obviously cost more than a regular inspection ) make sure you do it within the seven day return period.
First Honda CRV bought had something wrong with the air conditioner compressor so I returned it
Second one I bought was a 2017 CRV. the Carfax looked pretty good I thought .. did have it checked out and a mechanic shop and everything appeared OK .. I even bought the Carvana essential warranty. It’s not the most expensive one. It’s the tier right under. So far I have spent almost 3 grand on repairs on this car and the warranty only covered about $400 not including the almost 3 grand I have spent. Now recently I have learned my car has a major oil leak VVT solenoid leak which has leaked all over the serpentine belt that I also recently paid out-of-pocket to replace. Serpentine belts should NEVER have oil all over them it just weakens them to break very fast.....Just be careful. Carvana knows how to have their little loop holes to get out of paying for most things. Now I don’t have another grand to spend on this major problem which will 100% further do more damage to my engine.
When I bought this car from Carvana about six months ago, it only had 86,000 miles on it and I’ve not put many more miles on it at all. No reason in the world for this many problems to be going wrong and now I’m stuck with the same super high payment every month AND ON TOP OF THAT still paying costly repairs to fix my car and Carvana doesn’t give two shits.
I would give them zero stars if I could.
THEIR WARRANTIES ARE A JOKE AND ARE A MONEY MAKE FOR THEM. unless you get the MOST expensive one!!! well maybe...

I would never sell a car to this company. They gave me an offer on my vehicle, which was half of what scrap price would be on my vehicle. My vehicle is a 2013 ford edge which runs with no issues so it is a waste of your time and money to buy or sell to this company. So I definitely recommend not selling to them Because you’ll get taken advantage of. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH CARVANA……
