Please save your money. I purchased from cashmere hair as they were the only place I could find that had the specific shade I wanted. Turns out, they are the thinnest extensions on planet earth. I literally cannot believe how thin they are. Out of the package, they look like they have been pre-worn for at least a year. Unfortunately I couldn’t tell how horrible it was from just the tester piece so I’m now stuck with these $250 paper thin extensions that look absolutely ridiculous in my hair. I’ll never purchase from here again and I hope this review deters at least one person from making the same mistake I did.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Cashmere Hair for many years and recently purchased another set of their classic clip-in extensions (not the seamless ones). I truly don’t understand the negative reviews—these extensions are incredible! In my experience, the quality has remained consistently excellent over the years. I usually repurchase every six months in the shade Starlet Brunette. To help extend their lifespan, I avoid using hairspray and give them a nice curl with a 1-inch iron beforehand. The curls hold beautifully, and so does the hair—it lasts!I couldn’t be happier with the hair extensions and will absolutely continue to be a returning customer. 🙂
On my wedding day, I truly felt like the best version of myself and Cashmere Hair extensions played a big role in making that possible. When it came to my wedding day and considering my hair type, I eventually choose the Volumizer One Piece from Cashmere Hair, in the shade Bel Air Brunette which was a perfect match for my hair. The Volumizer One Piece provided my hair with just the right amount of volume, particularly because half of it was tied up into a braided bun. My curls looked full and bouncy and when I say that it held up from the ceremony all through to the dancing, it held up very well. The best part about it was how simple it was to apply. It was so incredibly easy for my bridal hairstylist to incorporate into my hairstyle and simple enough for me to use on my own as an inexperienced user whenever I would like to add more volume on any other day. Their design allows for maximum comfort all day long, which was the best feeling on my wedding day! For the bride-to-be who is wondering whether or not to get extensions for your wedding day, I highly recommend it, you won’t regret it!
They were great for the first week — then it all went downhill. I’m a hair dresser and I’ve been wearing extensions for over a decade. I’ve tried nearly every brand. Most companies have horrible quality these days, even the places I’ve purchased from for years, and it’s extremely frustrating to deal with. I was excited to try Cashmere because I’ve heard good things about them. However, it was an AWFUL experience all around. The quality is shockingly poor. I’ve never had extensions go so bad after one wash, and NOTHING revives them. I use high-end products, I’ve deep conditioned them, nothing works. When I reached out to customer service to raise my concerns, they gaslit me right off the bat. Being a hairdresser, I know a bad batch of hair when I encounter it. I politely raised my concerns with CS and they blamed me for the quality issue. I hadn’t dyed them, trimmed them or altered them in any other way; they fell apart right after the first wash. They use silicone heavily and when it washes off, the hair is unusable. I was willing to work with them on this, I wasn’t expecting a refund, just raising concerns. I sent them photos and receipts, politely pointed out the split ends and significant shedding, showed them the difference between one set I had and another. They continued to be rude, combative and dismissive until I just gave up. I will never, ever shop here again for that reason alone, and I will warn everyone I know who wears extensions to never purchase from Cashmere.
Overpriced, Poor Quality, and Misleading ReviewsI rarely write reviews, but my experience with Cashmere Hair Extensions was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. I was lured in by the glowing reviews and high price tag, expecting premium quality hair extensions. What I received was nothing short of a rip-off. • The extensions arrived balled up with a rubber band, not neatly packaged as you’d expect for such an expensive product. This left the hair bent, frizzy, and impossible to lay flat in my hair. • The clips are a joke. They barely grip and constantly slide out, making it embarrassing to wear them in public. The new design is a clear downgrade from what they used to offer. • The hair itself feels dry and brittle, and after minimal use, it started frizzing and shedding everywhere. Some sections even felt synthetic, despite being advertised as real human hair. • For the outrageous price, the weight and volume of the hair are shockingly low. You’re paying a premium for what feels like cheap, processed hair that doesn’t last or blend well. • Customer service was unhelpful and dismissive when I reached out about quality concerns. They refused to acknowledge the issues or offer any real solution.
Purchased Cashmere hair since 2017. Brown tones never gave an issue. Quality was wonderful and top tier. I don’t know what happened. In March 2025, I purchased Sunset blonde shade, and it looked like fake shiny doll hair. I had to tone it to bring it to a human-like shade. Forward five months later and it’s shedding like crazy. Pulling out clumps of hair upon gently washing. I’ve lost a lot of the volume. Terrible quality. Theyre not what they once were. Dont make the $200 investment. You’ll be throwing your money away. I had to throw my purchase in the garbage sept 2025
If i could give them no stars I would. Cheap dry hair. It's the kind of hair that you'll get from Temu for $3. I had to argue with them and had to send them tons of pictures for them to give me a refund. They send the hair to you in a small plastic bag and once you open it you can't return them. The only good part was that the customer service repl who helped me was excellent. I keep getting asked to change my review, there's nothing else to add. The extensions were horrible and they took them back because I submitted pics showing how bad they were.
