Have dealt with Champion Windows several times through many years. After trying other well known window brands, out last try with Champion was a success. Their expertise, although priced a little higher than competitors, proved a winner for us. Our windows have had no problems - no winter steaming, no difficulties in cleaning them, no leakage. They are holding up wonderfully. Their sales staff were friendly, understanding and worked honestly with us to meet our needs. If you want long lasting windows of high quality get Champion!
The sales rep was very good at explaining the product and very helpful in choosing colors, etc. The gentleman who came out for the final measurements was very professional, polite, and respectful. The window installation team was also professional, once they finally showed up. I was told that manufacturing would take approximately 8 weeks, which would put me at the end of October, and they would call to schedule installation of windows and siding. I had to call multiple times before they came out in December to put my windows in. I have been given 5 different days for the siding installation to begin in the last 3 weeks, and all 5 days, nobody showed up and nobody called to tell me they needed to reschedule my installation. So, here I am into January, and I'm still not sure when my siding is going to be put on the house. It has been sitting in my yard for 2 weeks killing my grass. I understand that we are in Pennsylvania where the weather is unpredictable, but it's just common courtesy to call a client who has given you over $30,000 for windows and siding and let them know that you got held up on another job. Besides which, I should have been called in November to get the installation scheduled, and I ended up having to call multiple times. I still have to call in order to get any details because no one feels the need to reach out on their own. I just want the siding put on my house, or else leave the siding and give me a refund so that i can pay someone else to install it.
I was over charged for the sunroom built on my home. The salesman ignored the 25% off coupon that I had, promising he would work it out. I was promised lots of things that didn’t happen. They sent my HOA bogus pictures that were not my sunroom. Rooms my size were advertised on their website for $15,000.00 less than they charged me. I signed my contract 5/29/19 and the room was not finished until 11/24/19. I did not enjoy it on my birthday nor ALL summer as promised. This was a very expensive, heart wrenching experience. Everyone that sees it estimates that it cost $15,000.00. Champion charged me $32,000.00. When I tried to cancel the contract, their lawyer told me I would have to pay them 30% of the price of the room, just for canceling. They should be ashamed. The room is approx. 20 x 13 feet, because my bay window juts out inside it.
We love our new sunroom. The salesperson that we worked with went out of his way to make sure that we could get exactly what we wanted a what was possible with our unique location (under the deck). The installer was prompt, reliable and trustworthy and did a great job with the installations
