My name is Mark I service most chatwins shops for my initail!! Want to praise the girls who work in Hoole shop!! Customer care and really great interaction. The girls are a credit to chatwins, please make sure you look after your amazing team
The food looks great and its good for people who want an alternative for Greggs etc. However, do not be fooled by their guise that it is a fresh bakery. It is not. The amount of e-numbers in the breads is frightening and whilst the loafs are big and fluffy, they lack any flavour. I believe this is not a bakery, just a heat-it-upper.
We called in at the Newcastle Bakery at 5 past 10 this morning and the girl stood looking at us never moved a muscle just stud there smiling never approached us we waited until twenty past ten then we said to her we carnt wait any longer she just smiled as we walked out as I was on the 30 min parking she could have been a ghost or we were invisible poor service.
Sausage rolls were soggy when bought warm , went in very early only a few on sale? returned an hour later to return them as they should be crispy.On my return the display was full with not as crispy sausage rolls!! Were my original sausage rolls yesterdays warmed up.
I read the review with interest over the hope farm branch.I am a regular patriot of this shop and my experience is completely different. It's a small friendly and very busy shop, with excellent food . The staff taking time to give quality service and time. I have always felt very welcomed and valued and have never intentionally been ignored. I would encourage all to go to this branch.
We often enjoy Chatwins for snacks and treats, but I'll not bother with the Hope Farm Road branch again (Ellesmere Port). I've always found their service to be blunt and less than polite after many visits, but a few days ago I stood in store for about three minutes with just one woman my side of the counter and three members of staff. Two chit-chatting with the woman and one keeping busy. None of the staff bothered to say hello or offer service, so after those few minutes I left. No courtesy at all....No problems with other Chatwins, but won't be return to that one again.
40 High Street, The Square, Nantwich- Excellent quality food with friendly service. Could not fault them, both for hospitality and quality of food. It was on the day of the farmer's market with the Town Cryer about. We have known this shop since it was founded, and it has only become better even with the pandemic, and the crisis made by putain. What a dream...
