Appalling Service and Unacceptable Delay in Refund - Legal Action TakenI am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by CheapTickets. It has been nearly five months since I canceled my flight, booking number CDE-15061677, and I still have not received my refund. Despite being promised a refund within 8-10 weeks, I am left waiting indefinitely with no resolution in sight.Under EU Regulation 261/2004, airlines are required to provide refunds within seven days of flight cancellations. The prolonged delay and lack of communication from CheapTickets are not only unacceptable but also a clear violation of consumer rights. This has caused me significant inconvenience and frustration.Due to the excessive delay and lack of response, I have been forced to take legal action to recover my refund. Additionally, I hold CheapTickets accountable and have lodged a formal complaint with relevant consumer protection agencies.I urge anyone considering using CheapTickets to think twice. The lack of customer care and blatant disregard for consumer rights are appalling. I booked a flight ticket through cheaptickets.de from Frankfurt to Delhi (Euro 642), but later, I had to cancel it due to a change in plan. I contacted the company to cancel the ticket, and the representative told me that after the cancellation fee by the airline and their service fee, I would get Euro 248. They also sent me a document containing all the calculations. However, they refunded only Euro 156.30 in the end.
+ Booking process is relatively quick and straightforward.- They don't provide the carrier's reservation number (Air Malta in my case), only their own booking number. You need to go to their website to find the reservation number.- In the email sent after purchasing, no travel itinerary is provided.
After trying so many apps and websites a d almost giving up on my trip. I came across Cheaptickets.de and I decided to give them a try. I must I was really surprised a d satisfied. Ticket was supposed to be sent in 72hrs but mine came in like 15 mins. I am very satisfied I must say. I will keep buying from them as their tickets are not only affordable,they have many payment methods. Einfach klasse!👍🏽
it's look like fraud. I brought ticket using cheap tickets and they send me few mins later they couldn't buy my flight and will return my money. But it's almost 3 weeks no refund. I emailed them no reply. I suppose it's a fraud or cheaters. Be careful please
