The new Citylink online booking website is an absolute nightmare. It does not follow any logical steps.Bring back your 'old' booking system and tell whoever designed your 'new' version to find a different job.I would use Gobus but for the fact that their booking procedure directs me to your website again. One star is the only option available otherwise I would be awarding you a -5.
went on holiday 2 weeks ago. We were flying from dublin so booked city link for going up and down. Going up was no bother at all where as going down was a joke. We booked the bus for coming down at 6 pm or flight got in at 5 past 5. We got delayed waiting for our bags and going through security coming out of dublin airport but none the less we got out to where the bus was supposed to be at 5 to 6 and it was gone. We spoke to another bus driver who said it had just left. We had to pay 50 euro on top of that to get a different bus home. This is ridiculous carry on as you think the bus would leave at the time said.
Absolute joke of a company. The Galway bus is always late by at LEAST 20 minutes no matter what time of day. My son is always late to and from college due to their incompetence and they refuse to look into putting on an earlier bus service to actually get people to their destination on time. According to the app the driver is at a standstill in Milltownpass for 20 minutes every morning!! Wonder why they're always at least 20 minutes late so!! Also have reports of drivers hanging around outside the bus drinking coffee etc. in Kinnegad around 7.30am, where's the consideration for passengers and people waiting for the bus??Also since the app update everything has gone haywire, how about testing it before you send it out and cause mayhem. If we had another bus service, which unfortunately we don't, we certainly would not be using this one.Customer service agents are abysmal and no help at all. Drivers are rude...the list is endless. The Government want people to give up their cars and use public transport...yeah right...what public transport?? One bus service! Spend one day using Citylink and you'll never want to use it again.
Buses are not comfortable. Not made for long 3 hours journey. Also need a break to stretch legs. It not comfortable to sit in a cramped space for 3 hours plus. Bus it was not like this before. City link kas very nice comfortable Buses back in 2018 when I Fist time use it. But it disappointing not. There is no other competitors no option I have to use it. But I don't like to use it at all.
Travelled today on the new route 721 from Dublin airport to Castlebar. It was the 2.30pm coach which left on time and arrived a couple of minutes after the due time(6.30pm). The driver was very friendly and helpful, definitely will be using this service again 😄
Half these reviews are pointless as Ireland is cold and people are loud. The majority of people in this country hate bus services as they lie about their arrival/departure times. They should be more honest about what time you’ll arrive rather than saying it’ll be earlier than it was. Arriving at 2:30 when it says 1:45 and making us pay 70€For a taxi now that we missed a train because of the incompetence to just say it would be a 2:30 arrival is still bewildering to me. Why do bus services in Ireland lie
