Thought I was buying a genuine Bulova Marine Star but ended up with a fake Chinese copy for the price of a genuine one. I complained and requested a refund. They sent me the return envelopes with a tracking number so all I had to do was take it to the post office. With overseas purchases there is a huge risk of not getting the refund after the item is returned. However, we kept up polite correspondence and the refund came back through Paypal without delay. I gave them three stars for turning things around with their refund service which I thought was commendable. I bought a genuine Bulova watch from Chrono 24 and it is perfect.

I ordered and paid for a watch this morning and they have just informed me that the model is not in stock, despite it still showing on the website. I will update this if I receive my refund. It is unacceptable that companies appear that they are based in NZ when in fact they are not.
Delivery only Took 3days.. Service is Excellent.. i honestly Jumped into Conclusion seeing others Negative Reviews regarding CityWatches and i Apoligies for that.. I did Email them Regarding my Thoughts and the Response from them is Fast and no Hassle.. i would like to say Thank You To Katherine of Citywatches who assisted me i really appreciate your help.. now i can Personally Say Based on my Experience that CityWatches is A Legit Company.. So Happy with my Purchased with Them.. and Looking Forward to get another Watches from them.. Other People might Say that CityWatches is a SCAM.. i can now say they are NOT.. I purchased an Invictis watch for my Grandsons birthday from City Watches last week online.From that starting point to the watch being delivered to my door was 8 days.Singapore to NZ.I got fantastic service and regular updates as to what stage my parcel was at. This company is easily the best I have ever used for online shopping.Even the courier company they use let me know what day delivery would be AND when they had delivered the watch .. I placed an order with City Watches from New Zealand in July. I had assumed they were a NZ based company due to their web handle. Unfortunately this is not the case, and the watch I ordered took longer than expected to arrive as the watch was arriving from Singapore. Unfortunately the watch was not suitable and I requested a refund. Their communication and time taken to respond was poor. The returns label process was a bit of a shambles and I ended up feeling like I was doing all the work printing labels, contacting the postal company etc. I sent the watch back and did not hear anything for a couple of weeks. I followed this up with them and they said there would be a 7-10 business day processing time....I am still waiting and its now September!! Poor service from citywatches.co.nz. I would not recommend purchasing from them unless this type of service is what you are hoping to receive!
