Review Time
I blame myself for not checking the reviews prior to purchase. The quality, especially the shoes, is very bad. They are made in China out of very cheap materials. Literally, the first day I wore my booties, the heel wore down! The boutique was nice enough to exchange my loafers and booties for different sizes, even though they were on sale. But the quality is so poor and the sizing is so off I wasted $28 in exchange fees. Learned an expensive lesson.
If I could give zero stars I would! The sweaters pictured are not what you get. Their return policy on the website says 30 days guaranteed but you have to go deeper to see that if it’s a sale item that is 40% or more off, it’s a final sale. DO NOT ORDER! The sweater that came was NOT what was pictured!
This website is a scam. I have gotten multiple calls and emails of people asking where there orders are and if they will ever receive their orders (due to my business name being similar). Unfortunately, I cannot help them as this is not my business. Please look carefully at the website, mainly the AI generated photographs. This scam is likely ran by the same people are Sophie's Boutique Hamptons, as both sites have almost identical logos and similar verbiage in their brand stories. If you go onto the Clara's Boutique Instagram you can see it is all stolen images or AI generated. Some of the "photos" of the owners don't even show the same women. In addition to this, in all of the photos, the logo for the company is completely different. There is even a "photo" of their "brick and mortar store" where the window signs say "CLOSING DOWN" and "FINAL SALE." And finally, I am from the area this store is allegedly located. After asking around, nobody (including Google) knows where this place is located (likely because it does not exist).
On September 28 & 29, I reached out to Claire’s Hampton Boutique, to cancel this order. Little did I know it’s a scam bf I order. The products are not from the Hamptons or anywhere else in the US, they came from China, wrapped in plastic, without a box.I sent them 2 emails before they shipped and no one responded. I searched their entire website and there’s no telephone number. No one to date has replied to any of my emails.Yesterday, I received junk shoes that look like they came out of the dollar. There wasn’t even a box! They certainly aren’t orthopedic either! They are nasty and smelly. I just want them out of my house. The reviews for this company were bad and that was after I placed my order now I know why. This was also supposed to be paid in increments over time on Shop. Instead, they charge my AMEX for the entire amount!I left them a bunch of bad reviews on Facebook and they’ve now blocked me, instead of reaching out. BEWARE!
I purchased a pair of shoes for $69, which was supposedly a sale item. Online, these shoes looked like high-end shoes. I carefully measure my foot and compare it to their sizing chart, and ended up buying a half size bigger than it suggested to be on the safe side. The shoes arrived a size too small! And in a plastic shipping bag-no box to protect them. No tag, size or printing on the shoe to verify the size. The shoe construction was extremely poor...seams showing raw edges on the outside, white velcro adjusters against a gold background. Plastic painted to look like metal. The shoes look like they were worth about $15 --worthy of a halloween costume only. I reached out to the company and told them about the size discrepancy. They wanted a photo. I sent one. Then they wanted a video. I sent one. From the photo and video they determined that they sent the correct size (how? who knows?) They offered to send me a new pair if I just pay $14 for shipping...and I can KEEP the original pair! They have a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Except..if the item is on sale. And everything is ALWAYS on sale...So be wary of this store. I don't think they're a US based company because the replies came back via email around 4 am Eastern time...
I am concerned. Received a couple of emails that make it look legit. But the tracking number provided shows coming from China. Then got an email about a "quality check" that is delaying the order. I wonder if this is going to be a scam where they get a bunch of orders, have quality check delays, then disappear off the earth.
