Arrived late and waited 25 minutes for a shuttle, despite only two passengers needing it. I called after clearing passport control and again after getting our luggage, allowing plenty of time for them to arrange it (it was midnight). Three buses were at the hotel. The receptionist was dismissive and threw the key at me. The first room was freezing due to an open window, the second room was dirty with crumbs and dust everywhere, and lacked body wash or shampoo. The third room was a slight improvement. I wish I had chosen a newer hotel near the airport.
Arrived late and had to wait 25 minutes for a shuttle, with only two passengers needing it. I called after clearing passport control and again after retrieving our luggage, giving them ample time to prepare (it was midnight). Three buses were present at the hotel. The receptionist was dismissive and tossed the key to me. The first room was freezing due to an open window, while the second room was unclean, with crumbs on the chair and dust everywhere, plus no body wash or shampoo. The third room was slightly better. I regret not choosing a newer hotel near the airport.
I had high hopes for this hotel to kick off our holiday, and while the reception staff were friendly, the bar staff were cold and unwelcoming, displaying a frustrating attitude. They need retraining in customer service, as they should value us more than we need them. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
I checked into this hotel hours ago and it's like trying to sleep in a chaotic nightclub due to the noise from music and shouting guests. I requested a room change to a quieter area but was told they were fully booked. There were drunken guests staggering in the hallways, and I witnessed a packed lift. I'm regretting my choice as I write this. If you're in the area for business, I strongly advise against staying here unless you enjoy sleepless nights. It's like a budget hotel with slightly nicer decor.
I stayed at a hotel in Glasgow that clearly considered guest functionality. The illuminated bathroom mirror was perfect for makeup and shaving, and the shower controls were well-placed to avoid getting wet. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and I had a wonderful one-night stay.
The hotel is nice, but they disregard bookings made through a popular site, redirecting you to a questionable portal to charge your card. It feels like a data scam, as you end up entering your information twice. It’s frustrating and defeats the purpose of using a booking platform.
I booked this hotel en route to a music festival but had to cancel due to a house move, doing so 5 days in advance. Neither the hotel nor the booking agents took responsibility for the refund. I made multiple calls and sent emails, but received no responses. Avoid this place at all costs; they took £200 from me!
