Review Time
It started off well. I read the great reviews, designed a jacket, sent a couple of e mails to which they replied and then tried to pay. That's where the problems started. The shipping address countries were limited. Also the billing and shipping address had to match or it was blocked even though it said you could have two different addresses. I sent a mail and they answered once and said they were fixing it but stalled and never got back. A little sluggish but I understand the workmanship is great. We shall see.
I cannot recommend ordering custom jackets from this company. I took my measurements based on how to take measurements from the website's instructions. I received an email from the sales manager Waseem stating Clothoo doesn't do custom measurments. I understood and requested a refund since it was no longer a custom order. He tells me that most people don't give the correct measurements, but if I gave him the exact measurements, he could produce the jacket. I agreed. Waseem gave me pictures to use. I used those measurements exactly how they were shown to me, different from how to take measurements from the actual website. When I received the jacket and it didn't fit. I emailed Waseem about it. The measurements were centimeters short of what I requested everywhere. He called me and we retook measurements with him on the phone. I gave him the exact measurements. He made sure the new measurements were correct and I said yes. He was kind to spend the time to ensure I took the measurements exactly how they were supposed to. So I saw the preview, accepted it, and got the second jacket today. It still was wrong. I remeasured the back length and it was off by 4 cm than what Waseem and I had talked about! Chest and shoulders were great. But the measurements I gave Waseem were done in the precut of the jacket, so when I actually get the jacket it's short by those centimeters, where they really matter. That's two jackets that don't fit, and a waste of money. I cannot recommend ordering custom jackets here. If you do, I recommend adding at least 10 extra centimeters in length. Both jackets shrunk when it was being sewed, Waseem told me this would happen, and I added those extra centimeters but it still came out shorter than the measurements I gave. Whoever is sewing should know the final product should have those exact centimeters. Very dissapointed because it's been nearly three months of back and forth between Waseem and I. Nothing against the manager, he went out of his way to make sure I got the right jacket. The fault lies on whoever is doing the actual sewing because they're taking away centimeters from what was originally requested. For this reason I will never order from Clothoo again.
