I am writing to trading standards about this company that are refusing to communicate about returns and refusing to give refunds. This is illegal practice and breaks consumer law.
I am extremely disappointed. I received my suede boots and discovered that both boots were moldy throughout straight out of the box. This is completely unacceptable — not only are they unwearable, but it raises serious concerns about storage conditions and quality control.
For a brand like Moda by Pelle, this was shocking. I expected far better quality and care, especially for suede footwear. Opening a brand-new order to find mold on both boots is honestly unacceptable.
I would not recommend purchasing unless quality control and storage issues are addressed.
I won't be returning to this company. I received a defective boot and had to cover the return shipping myself, as the customer service team did not get back to me. I used the same delivery service that brought the boots, and they have yet to arrive. I'm now responsible for this issue, and the delivery service hasn't even bothered to reply to my attempts to lodge a complaint. I am currently out £85. Extremely poor customer service and an even worse delivery experience.
Extremely disappointing customer service. I mistakenly ordered the wrong boots and cancelled the order right away. Despite this, I sent numerous emails (only receiving generic replies with ticket numbers) and called multiple times (with no response) to confirm the cancellation was processed. It’s ironic how quickly they took my £75, but not in addressing my concerns. This morning, I received an email stating that my item had been dispatched and would be delivered by a problematic courier. Now, I have to return an unwanted item at my own cost. It’s a complete mess.
I recently purchased two great pairs of boots but had to return a third pair. The returns process is quite lacking; there's no label, QR code, or clear way to deduct my expenses from the refund. I registered my return at the Post Office, which cost me over £10, and weeks have passed without receiving my refund. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to shop here again, and I can't give them as high a rating as I'd prefer.
I received my beautiful boots today, ordered on Black Friday. There was a small issue, but a representative from customer service was fantastic in resolving it, and I got them the very next day. The leather quality is excellent, and the fit is perfect. This is my sixth pair, and they never disappoint. I even bought a hat this year, and the quality remains exceptional. I'm very pleased with my purchases.
I returned two pairs of boots because they were too large. Fourteen days later, despite multiple emails, I have received no communication, refund, or confirmation of my return. It's the holiday season, and while I understand it can be busy, I urgently need my refund.
