Disappointing customer experience overall. I visited the local branch recently and waited for 10 minutes while a staff member attended to another customer with a loan. Another employee at the bank didn’t even look up from their computer. It was obvious I would be ignored for a long time due to the loan process, so I decided to leave. A $200 overdraft requires an appointment, and the fee for replacing a card is charged automatically, regardless of fault. I can't wait to switch banks. I do not recommend them at all!

Three years of great banking experience with this institution. I appreciate that it's under a cooperative name. Since I started banking here, my money feels well-managed. They've also been incredibly supportive with my mortgage, and I can't thank them enough.

I have a term deposit with this institution for a year and wanted to withdraw 20% of it six months early. I'm willing to pay the penalty for early withdrawal, but they have denied me access to my own funds. This is completely unacceptable.
This is the worst bank I have ever dealt with, and I've had accounts with many different institutions. Please save yourself the trouble and choose any other bank; this one is utterly useless. It's shocking that they are even recognized as a bank; they would be better suited as a novelty shop, and they would still fail at that.
This institution claims that all profits go back to customers through interest, but that isn't true. My term deposit was supposed to roll over upon maturity. I received a letter confirming it, but months later, I found out it hadn’t happened. After closing branches and moving to a more office-like setup, the service has declined. I was told I should have requested the rollover, but I did when I opened the investment two years ago. They placed it into a non-interest-bearing account instead of an interest-bearing one. It’s disheartening that a bank would misuse my money like this. I am no longer a customer.
Yesterday, my partner visited the local branch to joint our accounts. He was told to bring an invoice with names and addresses, and that I needed to have an account there as well. No one mentioned making an appointment. When we returned today, we were not greeted warmly and were told we needed an appointment. There was no one else in the branch, and the staff seemed disengaged. The customer service was lacking, and my partner has been trying to call the head office, but the wait was too long, so we had to hang up. This experience has been very frustrating.
