Rubbish of a company!! Extremely pissed off!! Mum, having not owned a security camera EVER, or not knowing what the cloud is, her credit card has been paying for somebody's cloud account for the last 7 months. When I reported this sham with all the details of the transactions, the response was the following:"I have conferred with the head of our Cloud Subscription team, as well as our CEO, and they have indicated it will be necessary for you reach out to your bank to request the cancellation of any further payments from your account.Regrettably, with the information provided, we are unable to verify the account associated with the payments."This response is pathetic and such a fob off..... and why the f*** is the "CEO" mentioned in such an investigation. This can't be the only time that sought of thing has happened.So there you go, buyers and scam victims of Cocoon Products beware.
I bought a virtual reality camera. Product worked, may still even work well. Problem is, it is controlled by a mobile phone app. My phone has done upgrades which are not backward compatible with the app. The company said they won't update their app to newer Android versions. Technical backup and updates suck.
If I would give 0 stars I would!!This company is an absolute joke, even if the product is in warranty they will not help replace or refund. It has cost me over double to have an electrician come back every time to check something out as per request from the company. They have no faith in their product and definitely there customer service. Pippa has been extremely unhelpful and I would recommend buying somewhere else that doesn't end up costing you more money and a working product.
I have the Cocoon dog feeder. The first time we used it it took forever to set up, which was a red flag right away, we tested it, it worked while we were at home. Now, when it should work, while we were in Melbourne not at our home, we get repetitive ‘failure to feed’ notices and ‘unit is offline’ warnings. I tried to get customer support, but there is NONE on the weekends. So, we thought our dog was at home not being fed! Bloody awful! Anyways he survived. We tried it again for an overnight and found that we had to reregister the unit, it would not connect, just timed out every time, the camera would not engage. For something so ‘innovative’ it needs the bugs sorted out. Not worth the $150 I paid, hopefully, I can get my money back!
