Telemarketers

Telemarketers. They call several times a day, every time I ask to be put on their do not call list. They don't and the calls continue everyday. I want the calls to stop.

"optimize my presence online"

They called to "optimize my presence online". I asked the company name. He would not tell me. He said it was in the email he sent me. I asked for him to tell me and he would not. I told him I can see from the email he is with consumrbuzz. He said thats right. I asked why he would not tell me on the phone. He said he wanted me to go to the email for a zoom meeting. I said I has an appointment I had to go to. He said this time slot was set for me and he could not call back. I said "good" and hung up.

Tried it. Would not recommend.

Tried it. Not sure what I even paid for. I was even offered a money back guarantee and I asked for it and never heard from them again. Had to do a fraud claim to get my money back - they still charged me after I cancelled. Bad service.

I wish I would have read the…

I wish I would have read the reviews.... here is what Trevor said in his review and mine was almost exactly the same (albeit with some name changes... imagine that)! "I was approached by this company who initially misrepresented themselves by associating themselves with Google. After having been sucked in by a pretty good sales pitch, and as i needed SEO I agreed to a negotiated service which included no start up cost but only a monthly fee which would be for a 4 to no longer than a 6 month period at a cost of $150 per month.I then received a phone call from a young lady who introduced herself to me as Belle my personal contact who would handle the EDITING of MY Website.I then received a phone call from a very smooth talking so called upper management gentleman who then told me HE would be my personal contact and after showing me graphs and other bs persuaded me to invest a further $500, and made an appointment to talk to me on the 23 December. Needless to say this gentleman by the name of Stout was never heard of again.I complained to Belle my original contact who informed management. I then received a call from a Mr. Ty Nickens their marketing director who was fantastic, listened to all recorded conversations and immediately refunded the $500 back onto my credit card.Unfortunately this was when the nightmare began.Starting from 11/20/24 each phone meeting with Belle discussing which of my existing web site photos go where, what additional language to be added to my existing website and editing etc was discussed and agreed on for confirmation at the following meeting. At the discussion at each follow up meeting, the wording was incorrect, the photos were incorrectly placed, unconfirmed photos were added and had to be removed. After subsequent monthly meetings (three), and before the fourth phone meeting to finalize, I received a letter informing me that unless I agreed to Consumrbuzz hosting my website at $149 per month ad continuam they would not publish my site.a) The word host or hosting had never ever been discussed as my website and domain had and is with another company. I found this to be extortion.b) They initially argued that they had built a new website for me, which they had not and then conceded that it indeed was my website which was edited.c) I then got a phone call from some new woman by the name of Margo who informed me that my site had been transferred to DUDA and she would help me with the transfer and gave me her number.d) To say the least I got zero help after calling her number numerous times and left messages etc. I have never heard back from anyone at that company.Needless to say after spending $600 with them I am left with exactly the same website I had 4 months earlier and wasted hours and hours achieving nothing. This company in my humble opinion is incompetent, dishonest and devious."I will do whatever I can and go to whatever lengths I can to share my experiences with this company so that no one else has the same experiences as we have.

They wouldn't refund anything

We had an initial conversation with this company to optimize our website with a smooth-talking salesperson in which we were told the total cost, one-time payment, would be $299 and no monthly fee. A week later they called again and asked for another $948 to do something else. Now they called a month later and wanted something more. I didn't stay on the line long enough to learn what he needed. I ask for a refund and for them to discontinue our service. They said that wouldn't happen because they already purchased some software on our behalf. There was no chance of a refund. The salesperson got mad at me and hung up. Now we're out $1247 with nothing to show for it. We should have looked at their customer review rating of 1.8 out of 5 before we started this process.
