I really like COOK products and the friendly, supportive service. My use is mainly for larger events as I know they will have eg. an excellent dessert, that is as good as something I could make myself, and not full of ingredients that I would not have chosen to add. That is not the norm in today’s food industry.
Delicious food. Large number of choices of dishes. Easy to cook whether oven or microwave. Great to have in the freezer when too busy to cook or want something different.
Good selection of vegetarian meals.
I am a single household so would prefer more single portion meals.
I find that single portions are enough for two meals.
My favourites are the vegetable and chickpea tagine and the nut loaf.
The nut loaf is enough for four meals so I would really appreciate a smaller size
It is handy for us to have a shop in the village, it means we can physically select what we want - and perhaps find something we haven't seen online. The staff are helpful and obliging
The staff is incredibly supportive and available for advice. The food is excellent—not the cheapest option, but crafted with top-notch ingredients and has a delightful home-cooked appearance. I enjoy cooking, but when I'm short on time, this is my preferred spot, which I can't say about many others.
If you crave homemade desserts, these are an excellent option! Truly delightful, with fabulous flavors. Ideal for any occasion, and if you're hosting a special event, you'll surely receive plenty of compliments. If you were to purchase the ingredients and make them yourself, you might find it hard to save much money. I reside in the local area, and it's great to know these desserts are made nearby. Thank you!
The entire process from ordering to pickup was seamless, with no complaints. We enjoyed the turkey meal for two, which featured a lovely wrapped turkey along with tasty roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, and pigs in blankets accompanied by gravy. However, the brussels sprouts were quite unpleasant, as they had a bitter and tasteless quality. Overall, we were absolutely delighted.
The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, making for a superb Christmas dinner (except for our homemade roasties that someone overcooked—definitely not me!). The desserts were fantastic as well. Thank you very much. There was minimal stress in the kitchen.
I have relied on the Christmas dinner package from the service for many years and plan to keep doing so. It is impeccable and completely alleviates the stress of preparation, particularly since I work on Christmas Eve and into Christmas Day. The arrival of the turkey marks the beginning of the festivities.
