These are the most uncomfortable contact lenses I’ve ever tried. I previously wore a well-known brand but decided to experiment with this one. The bi-weekly lenses from this manufacturer were so uncomfortable that even a new pair was difficult to remove. After struggling for 10 minutes to get one lens out, I felt I needed to share my experience, as I rarely write reviews unless something is truly disappointing.
The contact lenses I purchased were extremely disappointing. I used to wear a different brand but decided to try this one. The bi-weekly lenses were so difficult to remove that even a brand new set posed a challenge. This has never happened with other brands. After struggling for 10 minutes to remove just one lens, I felt compelled to write this review. I usually don’t write reviews unless something is truly awful.
The rebate process is incredibly frustrating. They make you jump through hoops to receive the rebate and then take 6-8 weeks to issue the refund. At no point do they mention the 60-day limit to claim it. They take 56 days to process the application, leaving only 4 days (which could include weekends or holidays) for any necessary changes. I will never purchase from this seller again and will advise others to avoid any associated companies as they clearly do not value their customers.
The response I received regarding a defective lens was very disappointing. I expected more. The representative mentioned that the supplier does not handle public inquiries directly and referred me back to the practice. They can only assess worn lenses against a sealed, unused lens for manufacturing faults. If a second lens from the same box is defective, they suggest bringing back the box for further assessment. However, I’ll be trialed on a different lens design during my next eye exam before ordering any.
The customer service is unacceptable. While I appreciate having good multifocal lenses, I paid a premium for quality that should be standard. The promotion for a $50 rebate was a complete joke. I submitted all necessary information repeatedly only to be directed to a difficult and unfriendly portal for submission. It feels intentionally complicated. I won’t pay this inflated price for basic quality again, and their rebate promotions seem deceptive.
The customer service experience was dreadful. We missed the 6-month expiration date on the rebate credit card issued. When trying to reach the company by phone, I couldn’t get through to a person. My emails were met with generic replies about terms and conditions. It seems they hope customers overlook the short expiration date, allowing them to keep the funds.
We received a debit card for the $220 rebate, which expires in 6 months. Although it shows as active on the website, it has been declined multiple times. I checked their site, and it appears to be functioning. It’s unclear if it's only for specific products. I plan to contact my representative. Rebates using debit or gift cards should be reconsidered.
I strongly advise against using misight contact lenses for myopia management. After two years of use, my son developed an eye infection, and getting proper treatment has been a struggle with the current healthcare system. They market these lenses as safe, but our experience has been quite the opposite.
