You have a "lens customization" option, and there are three checkboxes that cannot be unchecked. I do not want the anti-glare coating which costs $7, but when I click the checkbox to untick that option, nothing happens. I am forced to buy this upgrade. Your customer service agent told me to pick different frames to see if I would then be able to uncheck the anti-glare option. This is very unhelpful. It's likely a glitch in your website which needs to be elevated to your web development team. Otherwise, it's an intentional misleading checkbox that forces people to buy an upgrade option. This reflects poorly on EyeBuyDirect. It makes me want to buy frames from Zenni, Firmoo, or any of your competitors.
I’ve never taken the time to write a bad review before but my god this was such an awful experience! I used apple pay for my purchase, and it automatically sent it to my old address. That was on me, but talking to the customer service was so useless.
I called, was directed to an email, and sent two emails asking them to either cancel the order or change the shipping address. No response.
I got a notification saying the package was shipped, and then delivered. I went to my old house and asked the new residents if my package was there (so awkward and embarrassing) and IT WASN’T EVEN THERE! I have nothing to return to even get a refund.
I have no idea what this trustpilot website is (you can’t even leave a review on the eyebuydirect website which should’ve been a red flag to begin with) so I’m probably just talking into the void, but I’m so annoyed!
I purchased glasses under insurance on 2/9/2026. I submitted a requested via email on 2/20/2026 to return them and have not heard back from EyeBuyDirect yet on my order #124260666. This company has not done right by me and I refuse to do further business with them after this experience.
I found a difficult to review the size the price the items in my checkout maneuvering through the glasses and I never received the last order I placed so I’m very hesitant about placing this order
Had to order new pair cause last pair got lost in delivery and they didn't want to refund cause I didn't pay insurance like wtf I gotta pay for insurance for glasses to get to me have never had this kind of problem before.
great website, ive used it for years and definitely cheaper than going to the in person stores- however that being said, this last time using the website, it was choppy, and extremely slow. at times it wouldn't load info at all and had to reset my chrome.
