Don’t take umbrellas! Richard head security team take them off you. Then leave them in a pile outside the venue meaning the skip rats that want a free brolly can help themselves I think it’s disgusting that you treat paying customers property so poorly. Ought to be made to pay for replacements.
This was my initial experience at the venue, despite my family having visited previously. I hope artists consider the feedback before scheduling shows here. The traffic flow to enter the grounds was frustratingly slow. Upon entering the building, the overall appearance was decent, and we didn't encounter the long queues others have reported, likely due to our prolonged wait in the car to access the parking area. Significant investment has gone into the lighting around the exterior, and the restrooms feature stylish sinks, although there are fewer toilets compared to other venues. The addition of escalators to the upper levels is a nice touch. However, the experience of sitting in a regular seat was less comfortable than in many older theaters. The seat sizes were restrictive, and the fixed armrests made it difficult to move them out of the way. There was minimal legroom, making it challenging for others to pass when standing up to let them through. The sound quality was not exceptional, especially from tier 3, where we struggled to feel the energy from the band or the audience; everything seemed muted. We could see others enjoying themselves, but it felt like we were separated from the atmosphere. My usual venue will remain the more attractive option for a variety of reasons. If they could improve the lifts or add escalators, it would enhance the experience. However, better seating and a more vibrant environment would make it truly enjoyable.
This was my first visit to this venue, while other family members had attended previously. I truly hope artists consider the reviews before booking here. The traffic to enter was painfully slow. Upon entering the building, the appearance was decent, and we didn't face the massive queues reported by others, likely due to our prolonged wait in the car. They invested significantly in fancy lighting on the exterior and high-end sinks in the restrooms, though there were fewer facilities compared to other venues. The escalators to upper levels were a nice touch. However, the seating experience was notably uncomfortable, with cramped seat sizes and fixed armrests. The legroom was so limited that even standing to let others pass was challenging. The sound quality was also subpar; being in tier 3, we couldn't really feel the energy from the band or audience, which felt muted. While I usually prefer my regular venue for many reasons, improvements in lift service or additional escalators could enhance the experience. Overall, comfort and atmosphere are essential for a more enjoyable time.
I was taken aback by the challenges we faced just trying to reach the venue. The performance was fantastic, but the venue itself diminished the overall experience with exorbitant food and drink prices and incredibly long queues to enter. We were a group of four, and our meal cost a staggering £96 for just burgers, fries, and drinks. It felt like a complete rip-off given we were a captive audience. On the bright side, I parked across from the venue and had a much quicker return journey. I heard horror stories of others taking over an hour to exit the chaotic parking situation. I would seriously think about attending events elsewhere in the country in the future.
On a positive note, the performance was incredible, featuring outstanding talent. However, the process of getting to the venue was a nightmare. It took us an hour and a half to cover a short distance due to poor parking management. The parking situation was disorganized, with no clear direction and minimal assistance. Exiting the car park post-show was equally frustrating, taking another hour and a half. I highly recommend seeking alternative parking options nearby to avoid the stress. The venue itself seemed chaotic and in desperate need of better management to improve the overall experience. I have enjoyed many shows at other venues without such hassle, making this visit quite disappointing.
This venue is absolutely dreadful! We attended a concert and it turned into the worst experience imaginable. The drive from our home took three hours instead of the usual hour, with one hour spent just traveling a few miles. The parking fee of £25 felt outrageous. We arrived late, missing part of the show due to poor signage and lack of staff to guide us. The seating arrangement was also a nightmare; I had booked aisle seats but ended up in the middle of a row, making it uncomfortable to navigate. The seats were cramped, and I struggled to find space even for my coat. The chaos continued during the interval with long queues and confusion. Given the overall discomfort and disorganization, I am resolved never to return to this venue.
What a disappointment! I was stuck in traffic for over an hour trying to reach the concert. Contacting the venue was impossible, which added to the frustration as I missed parts of a concert I was eagerly anticipating. The parking situation was poorly designed, leaving me unable to access it easily. Once inside, I missed the first two songs of the performance, which was fantastic, but the rude staff and disorganization ruined the experience. I will not return to this venue and suggest others reconsider before attending.
Attending this concert was a challenge. While I expected some queuing, the process was excessively slow, causing us to miss the first half of the show. The wait for drinks was equally frustrating, with prices being astronomical. The staff seemed overwhelmed, likely due to the cash-only policy, which hampered service. I would never return to this venue; it feels understaffed and poorly managed. Additionally, you’re not allowed to exit once inside, and there are no designated smoking areas, which added to the overall negative experience.
This was my first visit, and the seating arrangement really detracted from the experience. The venue was dimly lit, making it hard to find seat numbers, causing confusion for many. Once seated, the tight space made it uncomfortable, with no room to move. It felt unsafe navigating the aisles, especially with people standing up. The design seems to prioritize profit over comfort and safety, which is concerning. I wouldn't recommend this venue for those with mobility issues or poor vision.
