AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Do not even deserve the one star! Ashleigh Noon/Lauren and team are absolute disgrace.Zero communication. Emails and queries would go around in absolute circles for months. Constant chasing but they impossible to reach. Not a phone call once. They had zero interest in solving our case, would constantly ignore us.Estate agents were in absolute shock at their lack of professionalism and customer service. Nearly lost our chain on many occasions. We were not told when our solicitor left, they were happy to play the blame game but never acknowledge their faults, help or apologize. Absolutely appalling. I had to do half their work in contacting parties.
Their lack of communication was utterly unprofessional and unbecoming of a solicitors establishment. If you're not a fan of being kept in the dark, no email responses, unfinished work, please do not use this firm for your conveyancing.
I engaged Core Legal to carry out come conveyancing work, for a re-mortgage. Tiffany Daniels was aligned to support me and she was brilliant from start to finish. She was very professional, my emails were answered promptly (within hours, sometimes minutes) and she dealt with any queries I had, explaining things clearly and concisely. Great service.
Near zero communication . I felt like I was paying for a service and was being made a fool off. Far to many issues for me to explain them all , just to mention a few the wrong sale price of my house was typed into the contract 3 times, Good job I read everything carefully. Completion day was a joke it took 3 attempted days the 1st time the other solicitors of the home I was purchasing were not even aware we were supposed to complete . The list of blunders goes on and just made my experience with this company a stomach wrenching experience. I've bought and sold houses before, and understand things don't always go smoothly and patience is needed , but I felt like I was dealing with a firm who couldn't care less about my experience with them. I should never have listened the Purple Bricks who recomended Core Legal to me .
Horrendous company….AVOID AT ALL COSTS.There was no communication, searches sat on Core Legal’s desk for over a month and we lost our buyer due to long delays as a result of Core Legal’s ineptitude. We had to chase Core Legal continuously, all milestones through this awful process was provided to us via our estate agent and not through our solicitor. We were not advised when our solicitor left, we just noticed a different name on an email and it’s impossible to talk to your solicitor as you are put through to someone in admin and in the entire six months our solicitor never talked to us once. The managing director who is also a solicitor took over our conveyance and were even worse than what had come before. We are making a formal complaint and going to the Law Society, the estate agent is also stripping Core Legal off their recommended list. How Core Legal can be in business is staggering to us.
This firm is despicable and should be avoided at all costs. They are flagrantly in breach of the SRA code of conduct and do not act in the best interests of their clients. Their unprofessionalism and ineptitude is beyond belief. They were instructed six months ago on a simple conveyance and the transaction still hasn’t been concluded properly. My case has been passed around to six different people and they now have made a serious omission. I have worked in the legal industry for eleven years and have never seen such a flagrant disregard for the standards set by the profession. The SRA need to intervene and put this firm out of practice.
