Matthew and the team at Core Legal are truly amazing.Tamar, and Lynnette, were absolutely incredible. Dedicated, focused, professional and kept me updated all the way through the sale of my house.Experts for sure and would highly recommend Core Legal.
I can't agree with the 1 star reviews and that may be down to the case handler. In my case Joel Hutchinson has been fantastic, even with substantial delays from the other party and myself being quite demanding. Joel was informative, friendly and progressed matters when he was able too and when provided the necessary information to move to the next stages in the process. Very happy with his efforts as part of core legals service.
Zero stars. The worst service I have ever had. They ignored my calls, my voicemails and my emails. When I begged the receptionist to help me because for weeks I couldn’t get a reply from anyone she told me she was too busy and had other calls to answer. I sent emails asking for some sort of communication. I called and it went to voicemail continuously and never received a call back. When another solicitor within core legal emailed me back after begging for help she just said she could not access my files and I’ll have to wait for jordanna to return. Everything dragged out unnecessarily and nothing gets done unless you call them but honestly they are a terrible company. Would not recommend them. I’m still waiting on a reply after two weeks of calling 10+ times and sending emails. But nothing. Feeling so fed up with lack of communication and the fact no one seems to want to help.
Purchased my first home with Corelegal and Suresh, Emily & Katherine. Everything went well and smooth transaction. Getting in contact with Corelegal was good there were times that I needed to sent multiple emails and phones to get in contact which can be understandable as they have multiple clients. Overall, I had a great experience the services
Unfortunately, the system does not allow me to give 0 stars.Worst service ever! The entire team is incompetent and unprofessional.The only way to get them to do any work was by calling Purple Bricks.They sat on information for ages and I nearly lost my purchase on the top of the chain. They kept blaming each other internally as my case switched hands 4 times.I was at their mercy for months, and due to the way the entire process is rigged, I could not get help anywhere.
It seems any decent reviews regarding Core Legal Ltd emanate from service provided from individual solicitors and not the company as a whole. If you are considering engaging them, then good luck as its a lottery. My personal experience is that this company is useless, the simplest of tasks take an inordinate amount of time, lost documents, files not updated, impossible to contact and certainly no feedback. They came recommended are part of a panel of lawyers through Purplebricks and their delays almost caused the chain to collapse. If you are already engaged with them, don't bother with the complaints process, Sally Hare does not even have the curtesy to acknowledge receipt let alone respond.
Core Legal portrays an image of high a quality practice however my experience with them fell a bit short of that. Emails responses are few and far between. Because of this they came across as not very proactive and maybe even idle. Delays in the process were caused by their lack of communication and direction. They did however get the job done and I’m grateful for that, it just wasn’t the top class service I thought I’d pay for and receive.
Please ignore the 5 star reviews!! Core legal have now been involved in two of my house purchases over the past 4 years. Both terrible experiences, but the most recent was truly shocking service. 6 months on a very straight forward transaction - no communication, don’t answer the phone, don’t answer emails, nobody could get hold of them. Our chain almost collapsed on multiple occasions due to the severe lack of interest from this company to carry out their work efficiently. They may be cheap but please avoid.. not worth the time they take if your chain was to collapse!!!
