I finally need to speak out about the very confusing poor experience I am having trying to my card set-up with Cornercard.I applied and was granted a platinum Visa card when I completed the online form. I also need a card for my wife, so I don't really understand why you cannot order this through the same form nonetheless, I completed an additional form that they sent me to get a card for my wife. Unlike the online form they refuse to accept it over email, so I sent it to them by Poste after about 10 days of no Infomation. I called them again and they said that the form I sent them was not completed correctly. OK I said why didn't you contact me and tell me what the error was? They said no just complete the form again and send it. At the earliest I will get the card for my wife more tan a month after I applied for my card.Next, I couldn't get their app to work. After two calls to their customer service, it was sorted out.Then I found that the priority pass doesn't work either. Call them again they said yes they're having problems with that and then they'll get back to me. They did not contact me, I guess I have to keep calling to find out when it is fixed.I also want cards in Euro and have asked for four multiple times but nothing received so far. I was also told that for the Euro demnitaed card, you need to apply again. and send another applications for my wife and I???In the meantime, I must've sent him five or six emails about various issues to their customer service email info(at)cornercard.ch. For all the emails I've sent them and all the phone calls. I've received one response so I'm wondering if they're just ignoring them?My point here is that I was with UBS previously. And the process was quite simple and you get relatively clear help immediately and have clear forms the form to complete.So, I am wondering it Cornercard, if going to review their sign-up procedure? Im Gegensatz zum Online-Formular weigern sie sich, es per E-Mail anzunehmen, also habe ich es ihnen nach etwa 10 Tagen ohne Rückmeldung per Post geschickt. Ich habe sie erneut angerufen und sie sagten, dass das Formular, das ich ihnen geschickt hatte, nicht korrekt ausgefüllt war. OK, ich fragte, warum sie mich nicht kontaktiert und mir mitgeteilt hätten, was der Fehler war. Sie sagten nein, ich solle das Formular einfach noch einmal ausfüllen und abschicken. Frühestens einen Monat nach Beantragung meiner Karte werde ich die Karte für meine Frau erhalten.Als Nächstes konnte ich ihre App nicht zum Laufen bringen. Nach zwei Anrufen beim Kundendienst war das Problem gelöst.Dann stellte ich fest, dass auch der Priority Pass nicht funktioniert. Ich rief erneut an, und sie sagten, ja, sie hätten Probleme damit und würden sich bei mir melden. Sie haben sich nicht bei mir gemeldet, ich muss wohl weiter anrufen, um herauszufinden, wann das Problem behoben ist.Ich möchte auch Karten in Euro und habe mehrfach vier Stück angefordert, aber bisher nichts erhalten. Mir wurde auch gesagt, dass ich für die Euro-Karte einen neuen Antrag stellen muss. Und noch einen Antrag für meine Frau und mich schicken???In der Zwischenzeit habe ich ihm wohl fünf oder sechs E-Mails zu verschiedenen Themen an die Kundendienst-E-Mail-Adresse info(at)cornercard.ch geschickt. Für all die E-Mails, die ich ihnen geschickt habe, und all die Telefonate habe ich nur eine einzige Antwort erhalten. Ich frage mich daher, ob sie mich einfach ignorieren?Mein Punkt ist, dass ich zuvor bei der UBS war. Dort war der Prozess recht einfach, man erhielt sofort relativ klare Hilfe und hatte übersichtliche Formulare zum Ausfüllen.Ich frage mich daher, ob Cornercard ihr Anmeldeverfahren überarbeiten sollte. Wirklich enttäuschend.-> Kein Platin-ServiceDer einzige Lichtblick ist, dass ich endlich eine Karte habe und sie funktioniert.
I use a Cornercard since almost 25 years and for the first time I sent a claim to one of the insurances I have with the card. The insurance asked for many documents and I was able to prove everything they wanted - but in the end found a reason to claim the documents were not a prove. The insurances Cornercard offers with the card are basically useless, all they do is trying to find a reason not to pay. I don't know if other companies are better, I can only suggest not to chose a Cornercard because of the insurances.
I have the Cornercard Gold and the service is not the best but thats not what the reason why I am writhing this review. The reason is that I accidentally made an insurance with just 2 wrong clicks and to cancle I called and they sad they need an e-mail to cancle so I did an I took the wrong one so they sad it must be done with the correct email. The wrong email I understand but why can't I just call???
I signed up for Cornercard credit cards in June 2025, and the website was all in English... oh, except for the sections about insurance, which, inexplicably, they only displayed in Italian. I write software for a living, so I sent them screenshots, and they didn't seem to care less."Since we are in Switzerland we do unfortunately not provide all application forms in English, therefore some documents were in another language. However, our Call Center agents are delighted to assist you in English if you have any problems in understanding or in filling out the application."Are they even legally allowed to ask a customer to sign a legal document which is partly in a language they don't understand ?Anyway, I received the cards, but noticed they'd charged me 2 CHF for receiving paper bills.I emailed them to say that (a) I hadn't received any paper bills (b) in your app, I have specifically said that I want to receive my bills by email.Once again, they cheerfully replied back, explaining to me how to request my bills by email. Which I'd already told them was the current setting.(Sigh.) I've cut up my credit cards and am sending them back.Seriously, these people are too dumb to be running a financial company.(Two days later.)Still no reply from CornerCard to my email, asking why I was sent a paper bill, when this option was unticked in their app.Oh, but they've sent me a letter confirming that they've canceled my credit cards.No explanation, no apology. Just a cancelation, so I just blew 57 CHF for a year's subscription for two credit cards I never got to use.I'll say it again... this company is too dumb to trust with your finances, and THIS is their level of customer service. And that's when you sign up for their Gold cards (!!)You've been warned.Final update:Cornercard did refund me for the full amount (the annual charge for the credit cards and for the paper bill, which I hadn't requested).They didn't ever email me, justify their behavior, apologise, or admit they'd made a simple mistake.As I've said.. you've been warned. I'm relieved to be rid of them.
The contact form doesn't work: I get no notification that my message sent via form was received and I don't get any response. I have to update my data but there is no possibility to do this via their website. I send messages like to the outer space. And they keep sending me bills with the old data. I have no other option except complaining here. Never seen this kind of zero communication between bank and client.
