Today we went into Costa at Roaringmeg/9 Yards and although busy we purchased 2 hot chocolates made with coconut milk. They were very hot, full to the top and delicious! We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed them!

I visited the Carfin branch on 19/2/26 and enjoyed a pleasant morning there. All staff were great but Debbie in particular,
who was working at the till was very helpful and pleasant, made the experience all the more enjoyable. I hope to visit again soon.
We have visited the Costa at Stevenage Leisure Park quite a few times now and have a friendly warm welcome. One of the baristas remembered our order by the third visit (a young man with a very dark hair and goaty) and is always very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
It is such a comfortable, well designed Costa and is always clean - all of the staff who have served us have been great and they work very hard.
We love that it's open till 11 for after the cinema too.
Thank you.

Awful service received here. I ordered a cheese toasty as I am vegetarian. They young asian colleague used the yellow chopping board and knife. Only spent less than £6 and when i made a complaint they offered me two free drinks which is unacceptable. Complaints team kept sending me a template to get the complaint off their desk. When I asked for CEO to look at the complaint I kept getting fobbed off with someone else. Eventually went to the frenchise who said they checked the CCTV and they used the correct board even though I seem them use the wrong one. Offered for me to view the CCTV but I was visiting family 35 miles away. pointless to view over a £6 product. I go once a week and it is a shame that I've been made to be a lier when I say the truth. This time I have lost all interest in Costa.
We visited a location today and had a very disappointing experience. The staff did not pay attention to our order, resulting in mistakes. The toast we requested was barely cooked, and when I asked for it to be done again, I was questioned about wanting both sides cooked—it's common knowledge that toast should be cooked on both sides. Additionally, we didn't receive the jam or marmalade we ordered. Lastly, the heat in all your locations is extremely uncomfortable, and at this particular store, it was unbearable—my wife, who usually feels cold, couldn't even stay inside. Due to the rain, we had no choice but to sit inside.
I visited the drive-through and requested a refund for a toasted turkey sandwich. Instead of understanding my concern, the manager questioned me and accused me of raising my voice. I explained that the bread was soggy and had an unpleasant smell. She dismissed my complaint, claiming it was just my preference. When I asked if she had tasted the sandwich, she mentioned trying it at an event but still refused to refund me, ending the conversation with sarcasm. I won't be returning.
Bought 3 different hot chocolates from the Coventry branch. We had to wait a good 5 mins in the queue, then finally got to order.
The first lady was pleasant and respectful, but the barrister whom made the drinks made no effort really.
2 of the drinks were tepid chocolates rather than hot. They tasted good, but not warm enough!
Yet the 3rd one was so hot it was undrinkable for 5 minutes!
Maybe a little consistency would be good.
I must say though, the Black Forest Tepid Chocolate that I had was the best flavour and contents for years. At all other stores they do not add the cherries! A welcome surprise!
I cannot recommend this location at all. There is one staff member who seems to ignore customers completely. He doesn't greet anyone and is quite dismissive. As a coffee enthusiast, I am very let down by the service here. As a mother, I found it particularly frustrating that he did not offer to help me with my tray while I had a baby in a buggy. On one occasion, when I asked for tissues, he and a colleague were just laughing and it took him a while to even acknowledge me. The cleanliness of the tables and restrooms was also unacceptable. He didn't remind anyone about collecting points or rewards, and my tea was overly milky, masking the flavor completely. This experience has left me with a negative impression of the brand.
The café at the hospital is the most disappointing I have ever encountered. Over the weekend, there was a sign stating that there were 'No ceramic cups available due to staff shortages.' This seems unlikely to be standard company policy. If I wanted a takeout, I could just use a vending machine in the hospital! There were two staff members present, and it wasn't particularly busy on that Sunday morning, yet the ceramic cups were clearly visible. Don't they have a dishwasher? Or are the staff simply not motivated? This situation might reflect poorly on the quality of personnel available. The café certainly charges enough for their offerings. By the way, it's worth noting that this café is a subsidiary of a major beverage corporation, just to provide some context! In today's world, customer service should be a top priority.
