Your service is always excellent, as well as your products, however this last delivery of large snow crab legs was under your previous standards. They were not fresh and lack taste. First time this has happened to me since buying from you. I hope my next shipment will be better.
I ordered 1 dozen live jumbo hard shell blue claw and 1/2 dozen live soft shell whales. Bonus: I received an extra 1/2 dozen hard shell.However, the hard shell crabs were very "sleepy". I know when they are very cold they get lethargic (I crabbed for 40 years on the Jersey shore) but these crabs were way past their prime and after steaming them the meat was soft/mushy. Disappointed. The soft shells were "tinny" and definitely past soft. Again disappointed.Maybe if Crab Dynasty cooks them before they hang around too long they'd be better. But my experience is that their live crabs are shipped past fresh.
I had a problem with my order and after contacting your sales department, the problem was resolved immediately and i am once again a happy customer. I have ordered from Crab Dynasty many times, and this is the first time I had a problem. This is a quality company that cares about its reputation
Lots of lively crabs arrived promptly and in great shape with very few casualties. All were just fine throughout the day until evening time when we were ready to steam them and they were absolutely delicious, packed with sweet meat. A Maryland treasure thoroughly enjoyed at our table right here in Maine. Thank you!
