I ordered some time ago - had questions and received nearly instant helpful responses. crab arrived almost to the minute UPS tracking forecasted. crabs were very fresh looking and smelling. when ready for the pot they became animated in all the right ways. and, the gauge & gender was accurate throughout the entire half bushel. finally, 9 crabs per person was enough if not the perfect amount.truly great product. i plan to order more and different seafood from these folks in the future. good stuff. i would only recommend packing a simple care instruction sheet. i’ve ordered seafood before but always forget if they will smother in the fridge - i put them in the fridge (big box) for the 3-4 hours before. no issues. i think fresh water (melting ice) will kill them - and you don’t want that!i’d also supply one recipe … basically a lager, water for steaming and layers with tons of old bay on each layer - done 20 min later on full steam in a turkey fryer! then eat outside. thanks
I started ordering from crab dynasty about a year ago. I live in NJ, before crab dynasty I would dive the 3.5 hr drive to Maryland and back home just to get crabs. I read a bunch of reviews from different companies and decided on crab dynasty. Everything was great at first, I even order for my Mom and mother in-law. This time I ordered large male blue crab, I was very disappointed. I did eat one immediately as I normally do as soon as they arrive. The crabs were not fresh, and there was a slimy film on them which ended up being the filling from the gel pack they send to keep the crabs cold. I could not eat the rest. This was a waste and a disappointment to the end of the season 😔Alasha
My order was fabulous! Everything was packed really well, with care and the ice packs were still cold the day after arrival. I got my crabs steamed and they were seasoned really well. Also, the shrimp we ordered were great and needed barely any cleaning. Highly recommend and will order again!
