This was my 1st time ordering from this company and I was very satisfied! The crabs were shipped very promptly and were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The price was very competitive and the crabs were packed full of meat. I will definitely be ordering from here again!!
A gift to my wife on her 80th birthday was not a diamond anything but, a golden opportunity to experience what she truly enjoys...Blue Crab... marinated in a traditional Korean marinade. The easy-to-navigate website and thoughtful handling and packaging ensured 100% live and kicking critters arrived on time for a big surprise. The problem was that these medium size hard shell females had little to no flesh or roe to enjoy. The effort to extract what morsels could be found was not worth the frustration, therefore, the entire order was scraped. For those of us that are not altogether familiar with what to expect the company should alert its customers as to what to expect so that they can make a satisfactory choice. It was a big dollar disappointment at an attempted perfect gift.
I ordered small bushel females hard crabs(cooked) and I supposed to receive 7-8 dozen. However, when I counted the crabs it was only six dozen and four crabs. I also ordered heavy seasoning there was barely season on the bubble wrap. I had to wait until Friday received my order even though I ordered after 3p.m. on a Tuesday. I'm qualified for next day delivery which would have been that Thursday because it was after 3pm delivery cut off time. The only day that I could select was that Friday. The last thing I don't understand is why I am being taxed and some states are not being taxed?
The product arrived when promised and the crabs were delicious. We ordered two dozen large male crabs and my daughter and I ate for three hours! She hadn't had blue crabs in almost three years due to difficulty in obtaining them in her new residence and I was thrilled to surprise her with these crabs during my visit to her. The seasoning (traditional) was perfect--just the right amount. The crabs were full and the meat was delicious.
