Upon arrival of the panels, I opened them up to find excess silicone from the junction box all over the panels, which suggests poor or no quality control—not what you would expect from a new product. Assuming that wouldn't affect the integrity of the panels, I continued with the installation.I used strong Velcro with 40 mm spacing and a small air gap between the Velcro strips. After 6 months, the laminate started to flake; after 9 months, the laminate was 60–70% degraded.Although the owner of the company seems polite and punctual, he insisted I had glued the panels directly to the roof and therefore the warranty was void. (Obviously not his first rodeo!) He told me that black van roofs can reach up to 70 degrees in the UK summer, yet the website states they have an operating temperature of up to 85 °C.The maximum output reached in optimal conditions was 330 W.

I always say, “Never judge a company by what goes wrong! Sh!t happens! So do yourself and the company you’re reviewing and make sure you rate them on how well they fixed the issue!”I have been using CraigSolar for nearly a year now! We place an order, the solar panel/s arrive! For the most part, the order arrives the very next day! Easy to give a good review for normal day-to-day practice!This week, for the first time in a year of ordering, I received a damaged panel! I sent Craig a photo of the damage and the very next day a replacement was sent with a personal response from Craig (the owner) - Perfect approach to Customer Service. I can not fault Craig and his company; CraigSolar!Amazing service! Highly recommended!
I was and still are amazed , I ordered and paid for the solar panel not expecting it for a few days , oh my god it was at my front door within about 90 minutes I thought the guy was having me on till I seen it , I’m sure the panel will be as good as the delivery and a nice guy too very happy and smiling thank you so much top marks . Mr Evans kings norton .
When customer service is top notch, it deserves to be shared.I have been in the very long process of converting a Fiat Ducato into a campervan. I bought 3 solar panels (800w total) from Craig Solar about 2 years ago and fitted them to a DIY roof rack on my van. All good. No issues at all.Then last week on Fri 19th Sep 2025, on my way to a job, I made a school boy error and drove my van under a low bridge. Yep. I know!I damaged my Poynting antenna, my Max Fan…….and two of my three solar panels.I ordered two more panels from Craig on that same Friday afternoon and they arrived via DPD at 13:00 today (Monday 22nd). Very quick delivery indeed.However, once I got around to opening then at 14:15 I found that both solar panels had been damaged during transit by DPD. Both had glass shattered.I emailed Craig at 14.23 to ask what I needed to do to resolve this.Craig replied with a no quibble response within 25 minutes, apologised, and offered to post out some replacement solar panels.I was a little dubious about another delivery from DPD but agreed for another delivery.However, at 15.46, Craig informed me that he had packed his van and was going to hand deliver these two panels to my door TODAY………..a 6 hour round trip of 250 miles.Craig knocked on my door at 18:20 and delivered those two panels in person. He also took away the two damaged panels.So, within just over 4 hours of reporting the damaged solar panels, Craig had resolved this by driving from his home to my home with two intact panels.That kind of customer service is very hard to find.Thanks Craig.
I ordered my solar panels at 09:00am, they was delivered by a very nice and friendly chap at 2pm. Now you just cant better than that. The product was exactly as described and very well packaged. I could not ask for more, absolutely amazing in all aspects.
