Review Time
It was a great experience all round. So refreshing to get such good customer service, with prompt and friendly replies to email queries. The prices are competitive, Craig had everything I needed to add to the existing solar system on my motorhome. Delivery was free and super quick.
*Update* CraigSolar initially requested that the review be removed by Trustpilot, have no idea on what grounds, could be wrong, but wonder if the same has been done on other negative reviews that have then been revoked. Fortunately they've left mine up, but a second request for a review came through, this time asking for personal information to be removed...notably his name...because his name is personal...and should be kept personal...and not revealed in context of his business....Pretty disappointed. The panels are certainly not a-grade/new items, they came with scratches across the face in several areas of the panel, the rear side has discolouration and swirl marks from what looks like a scouring pad. CraigSolar got back to me about it, hence the 2 stars, to initially say he would refund a tenner! it was after I challenged it further that he then offered a full refund upon return of the panel. Unfortunately it couldn't be replaced like for like after finding that the other 250w panels also had scratches on them, apparently down to packaging....that was about a week or so ago and nothing has been updated on his website/ebay listings to reflect that these are damaged items so I'd probably double-check any panels you order if I were you. Here are the emails between he and myself:Hi, Just opened up the panel we ordered (order 2564) and the panel has a number of scratches to the surface. I've attached some photos to this email, it appears the packaging is all intact, ThanksJoeHi Joe, thanks for your order and I’m very sorry to see this.We have contacted the factory and they have mentioned the scratches were caused during manufacturing. They will not affect the performance of the panels but it is annoying.Can I offer to refund you £10 for the hassle. The price you have the panels listed for is pretty good but they're not advertised as B Grade or returned items but as new, so I'd expect it to be as new when it turns up. I've seen/bought B grade/returned panels before and the discount is a little more than a tenner. Given we've paid for a brand-new item, I'd rather it was replaced for one please,Thanks,JoeHi Joe, I’ve just opened a couple and they both have a couple of tiny scratch marks which is really frustrating. A customer reported this on the first batch, when I spoke to the factory they suggested improving the packaging which is what we have done. The panels are all built to order and I even get to choose which cells to use so can guarantee they are all brand new and A grade only.I’m very sorry about this and will arrange a return and full refund.Very sorry for the hassle,Best Wishes
