I have used CurrencyFair for many years and with the exception of a short time when it underwent restructuring had nothing but excellent service. One gets a better rate than going thru banks as was my personal experience when I sold an apartment I jointly owned in Majorca . A difference running into thousands was noted by the other party using a bank. All transactions relating to the sale including tax payments went without a hitch
I have used Currency Fair for a number of years and I would have no hesitation in recommending it. In fact I have done so several occasions. It is practical and easy to use and on the rare times I have needed to contact customer service it has most efficient. Exchange rates are always very good .
The dashboard is clear.The procedure to make the transfer is also very clear.I would like to see the full IBAN of the recipient. In spite of the fact that the last 4 digits is sufficientI feel it would be reassuring to see the full IBAN.
CurrencyFair provides a straightforward, easily navigated process to transfer funds, and, as its name implies, its conditions are fair.There is good feedback on progress of a transaction.Owing to standard delay in the depositing transfer's reaching CurrencyFair, it can be confusing if one does the covering transfer before the one to the final payee. However I have now found that it makes no ultimate difference which operation is done first: deposit or final transfer. The result is consistently good.
