Currenxie does great work with cross currency transfers but same currency transfers cost a fixed percentage of 0.5% (to start) which is enormous when compared to the banks they are competing against. So, hard to see great value in straight wire transfers. As long as you are receiving in one currency and converting and sending it in another - they are great. But impossible to stomach the fees for straight wire transfers. TransferWise does it for around USD 6! If you sent USD100k to a USD account with Currenxie that would cost USD500! USD200k would cost a whopping USD1000! With TransferWise - it would cost around USD6 or with normal banking arrangements around USD20-30. So, Currenxie, if you want to compete and disrupt normal banking you have to get competitive on wire transfers! Once you do, you will get 5 stars from me and my company!
