I ordered a shirt at full price of $198. When it arrived, I had chosen a medium for a looser fit, but it turned out to be the size of a child's small. My 9-year-old niece couldn't even wear it. When I tried to return it, the system indicated it was a final sale. I had verified multiple times before purchasing that it was returnable, yet suddenly it was not. If I hadn't contacted the support team in frustration, I would have lost $198. They eventually responded with a return link, but I still faced several fees, leaving me out $25 for a misrepresented item. I will not be ordering from them again.
Ordered a shirt full price. $198. Shirt came (I ordered a medium so it would be looser) and the shirt equaled a child’s small. My 9 yo niece couldn’t get it on. Went to return it and the system told me it was final sale. I had checked THREE TIMES before buying that it was returnable and it was - but suddenly its final sale?? Had I not wrote the company in a fit of rage, had I just accepted the system bs’ing me - I would have been out $198. They wrote back with a link to return but even so there’s multiple fees and I’m down $25 for no conceivable reason. To return an either mismarked or child’s size item. I will NEVER order from them again.
Bought a Merino Wool Sweater. Size fits nicely, but the pilling is awful. Have to shave the sweater after every time of wearing, especially around the armpits. Seems to be low quality wool.Update Dec 22nd:After 10 times of wearing the sweater (did not even wash it, did only aired it out over night), the area under the arms is completely felted...I can't remember having worn wool of such poor quality.Would not buy from Cynthia Rowley again.
This company is the biggest rip off, and has zero values. I placed a $2k order with them, and here are the following issues that went wrong: 1. Their shopping system automatically added a 'complimentary, gift' tote to my shopping cart, which I never wanted to begin with. After looking at my receipt, they charged me $30 for it. Probably hoping that I wouldn't notice. So begins back and forth emailing to have the charge refunded. 2. Their sizing is laughable. I typically order a size Medium, and one dress I bought, the description says to size down one size. I did so, and am absolutely swimming it. I asked for an exchange to an XS, but they refused. 3. Another dress I ordered had a baggy look to it, so I ordered a size Small. It it literally so big that it fell off my 5'6, 140 lb body. They will send you a bedsheet for a garment, then tell you you're stuck with what to actually do with it. You won't be wearing it, I'll tell you that much. It's almost as if they are intentionally running a scam to get rid of unwanted fabric in their inventory. In which case, just sell fabric then? 4. Went to return a pair of overpriced, under-designed shoes and a vegan 'leather' belt that is so cheap looking, it looks as if my toddler made it. And of course. Surprise! They charge you a $30 return fee, AND make you pay for return shipping. If you're wondering just how cheap, classless, and low can one company possibly be, then look no further. You've found it at Cynthia Rowley.
This is the worst brand online. Things look great on models, with good lighting but in actual fact the fabrics are cheap and the designs unflattering and basic. Their returns policy is intense with no budge, so once you get the online looking sensational stuff into real light, you had better be on it or you end up stuck with their drab crap. Sadly for me I had a sick daughter so missed their punishing deadline, and now have to try to fashion something out of the dull dishcloth that arrived. Please do yourself a favour and AVOID.
Bought 3 dresses, wore one followed care instructions of gentle hand wash on silk. Complete rubbish. The dress is now see through so creased it can’t be ironed. The company refunded 1 x but now won’t respond to returning the 2 unworn dresses which have been in wardrobe to be with worn with spring. They were about $1000+ they are worth $80 buyer beware
I placed an order a while ago… the tracker says it hasn’t been send yet … they are not answering my emails. Very disappointed / dissatisfied! Looking at the other reviews they experience the same ! Don’t buy here … you pay way too much and don’t get any help … I am afraid my order will not come
I ordered a pair of pants, received the order, but needed to exchange for a different size. I returned the order per their guidelines and received an email that the exchange was being processed. I never received the exchange and was never refunded. I have reached out numerous times requesting resolution and have only received one response claiming I was never charged, yet the charge is clearly on my credit card statement.
I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased from the brand. I was sent a fedex return label that for a $121 t shirt. It is missing digital clearance for uk customs and I cannot rerun it. and no one will respond to my emails. Sent over 10. They clearly do not care about customer service What a bad experience.
Do not buy anything from this brand.The oversized mittens are very cheap and all the tufts are falling out.I contacted them to get a refund and send the mittens back and I got wrong information, then ignored and a complete silence.I would advise anyone tempted to purchase anything from this site to listen to my review. The styles look expensive but the fabrics are cheap cheap cheap. Their customer service is appalling.
