Review Time
I spent $30 and 2 out of the 4 items I received were incorrect. I had ordered 2 blizzards that were supposed to be made with chocolate soft serve and include chocolate syrup along with the candy I requested. However, both only contained the candy, with no syrup, and they were made with vanilla soft serve instead.
I visited a location where a 10-inch ice cream cake was listed at $41 in-store. I ordered through a delivery service but picked it up myself, only to be charged $55.35! That’s nearly a $15 increase. When I questioned the staff about this discrepancy, they blamed the delivery service for the markup. However, when I pressed further, they admitted they increase prices to cover their costs. They don’t inform customers about this significant price difference beforehand, which feels like extortion. Transparency about pricing is essential, and customers should be notified before making a purchase. This experience was frustrating, and the staff displayed a lack of understanding regarding ethical pricing practices.
My husband and I ordered chicken burgers to go. When we got home and started to eat them the chicken was so thin and tough my husband almostchocked. I tried to cut my chicken with a knife and it was so tough i wouldn't even try to eat it it. Since new owners have taken over Digby Dairy Queen, NS, has gone to hell in a hand basket.
Otawa, Iowa just off hwy 29. October 12th., 2:30pm. Sent my wive into place an order at the counter, while I walked my dogs. She came out frustrated as she tried to order at the counter but 3 young individuals with DQ shirts on were too busy fooling around than they were worried about taking her order. I calmed her down enough to talk her into trying the drive through. After waiting 2 minutes at the drive-up speaker before anyone even acknowledged us, we placed our order. About $21. We then proceeded to the window but the car ahead of us, that was sitting for quite some time, took so long we decided that the food wasn't worth waiting for. We proceeded to drive another hour and 20 minutes to eat at home.
I used to work there myself, stuff laying on the floor in the freezer's boxes on the floor boxes left open in the freezer, not closed properly. I don't I items put in the wrong place and strode all over the shelves. Inside the freezer. The cooler, some things were left open and not labeled or dated no dates or labels on any of the items inside the refrigerato raiders., infestation of cockroaches, mice flies around the food during service sitting in over all the food where it's served from on the line to\n Ps up there, air conditioner returns. Had unreasonable amount of dust on them.I would not eat there myself.I worked there for a long time.They help me out a lot, no.T the best place to go I would go elsewhere.The only thing I will come there for is the ice cream. I’m honestly really disappointed and pretty pissed.I went with my mom recently, and as soon as we walked in, the place reeked of sweat. It was gross. We tried to push past it and still ordered food, but that was a mistake too—the food was absolutely terrible. I usually come here for a quick bite or a Blizzard as a treat, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering ever coming back to DQ. It’s not worth it anymore.
I HAVE ATTENDED THE DAIRY QUEEN ON THE BYPASS FOR YEARS AND I WILL SAY IT IS THE ONLY PLACE WHERE THEY PLAY CHRISTIAN MUSIC AND I LOVE THAT. IT IS JUST A GOOD PLACE TO UNWIND AND ENJOY A MEAL. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED THROUGH THE YEARS. GOD BLESS AND COVER THOSE WHO MADE ME FEEL SAFE AND WELCOMED.
