I have asked for ice on the bottom and the top of the order to keep the meat from defrosting. Every time it’s delivered there’s nothing on the bottom and two on the top. When it arrives, the bottom is half thawed. I don’t know what’s so hard about putting the ice on the bottom and the top.
My 3 dogs and I LOVE Darwins. This wholesome food actually looks like meat. Some of those others, can't tell what it is. My veterinarian recommended Darwins to me years ago. Honestly, I've priced so many others. Darwins has the lowest prices I've found, and, like I stated, it actually looks like And is meat!!!! My orders have always been shipped out and received on time. I have called customer service a few times, just to talk about the different types of protein and when I have adopted a new dog. I am going to start my cat on Darwins too!!! Thank You so much.
After extensive research and numerous purchases of various raw foods, this one stands out as genuinely rotational. It gives me the option to select foods suitable for my dog, who has several food sensitivities (it's surprisingly challenging to find quality raw options without broccoli!). Additionally, the customer support is exceptional. I highly recommend this.
Many items in this batch appear to have frostbite, and upon thawing, a green layer forms on the outside of the raw chicken, requiring me to scrape off a significant amount. The color leans more towards a brown-red rather than the typical reddish hue. I might have to consider switching to a different option.
For the first time in a year, my shipment arrived frozen. There was a piece of dry ice included, which made all the difference. Previous orders were mostly thawed. I mistakenly picked up the dry ice thinking it was regular ice, but now I realize its potential for burns. I appreciate the opportunity to use it again, and I will be cautious moving forward.
