Would be zero stars if an option! I have messaged their online contact form 4 times, still not heard anything. Also called the number 8 times, never gets answered. Scam company designed to scare people into paying a fine that wouldn't stand up in court.
The service provided by Robert Dunn at Debt Recovery Plus was excellent.Through no fault of Debt Recovery Plus, recent correspondence had been sent to an incorrect address which was unfortunate.Robert provided some helpful guidance and a clear solution for the error to be resolved. The solution was followed and the matter completed in a timely manner.
Got a letter from DRP demanding £170 out of the blue, even though my appeal with Euro Car Parks was still open and unresolved. They sent me a big scary letter with “court action” splashed all over it, but here’s the reality:DRP have zero legal power. They can’t take anyone to court. They don’t own the debt. They can’t enforce anything. They are literally just a letter-sending service designed to frighten people. The letter they sent me didn’t even have a proper sent date on it — just a printed date at the top. No proof of when they actually posted it. Totally unprofessional and clearly meant to pressure people into paying before they can get advice. When I phoned them (big mistake), they read out some nonsense “notes” from Euro Car Parks claiming my appeal had been rejected, yet no rejection letter has ever been provided to me and no POPLA code was ever issued. They basically just repeat whatever the parking firm types into their system, even if it’s wrong.Their advice to me?“Contact Royal Mail.”A complete joke. They know fine well they can’t prove anything was ever posted. This isn’t how genuine companies behave. This is intimidation disguised as process. My advice:Do not panic, do not pay, and do not take DRP seriously. They rely on people being scared. Check your rights before you give these people a penny. It’s very telling that DRP have a cluster of glowing 5-star reviews that all use the same wording and structure. Compare those to the detailed, documented complaints from real customers and make your own mind up. They probably have a "department" for that. It's all a massive scam and I don't understand why it's allowed to happen. Vulnerable people will be taken for all they have and where is the regulator? Where's the protection from this type of evil, callous and predatory behaviour?
I’ve just received a debt recovery letter demanding £170 — the first letter I’ve ever received about this parking issue. I never got any original notice or reminder. The alleged incident was on 18th September, and the “notice issue date” is shown as 30/10/2025, yet nothing reached me until today (20th November).I even tried calling them and was on hold for over an hour with no progress. In the end, I had no choice but to pay the £170, even though I was simply waiting for the initial notice that never arrived.Looking through the reviews now, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated case. Many people report the exact same pattern — no first letter, no fair chance to pay the normal amount, and then an inflated £170 demand. It feels like a system designed to profit without investing in proper communication.Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience.
Would be great if this company respond email we sent. No response at all. Data breach also and they completely don’t care about that.We parked our car near train station - pay for our parking and still been charge by this unreasonable company. We have trying to contact parking company no respond - cowboys no response.
