Honestly, I wanted to like this site as an alternative to Adobe.First problem is that I wanted one picture, I clicked on it and purchased it (or so I thought). Turns out I only purchased a credit to purchase that picture. Not clear at all. Wasted a lot of time looking around for the picture in my downloads.Meanwhile I also found out that the site charged me twice for the credit (this has since been resolved).Getting in touch with a live agent for the two above problems was confusing. It told me I had 0 minutes to wait and that I was in a chat with someone but I didn't get any window to type in. Turns out I was still in holding (for 5 minutes when it told me zero),Once I finally got through to someone the problems were resolved. I wasn't able to download the picture myself for some reason but the agent did it for me. She also got the reversal done for the double payment.All in all, a bunch of problems that shoudn't have happened. The site should be easier to use and have less negatives if it wants to compete with Adobe.Update: DepositPhotos did their best to make this right with me. They responded to my review (which in itself is pretty unusual these days). They have said they took my feedback seriously and have looked at how to improve for the next person. In addition, they have given me a partial refund on my order, as well as a discount on my next order. I feel they have done everything could possibly expect to make things right and I will certainly give them another try.
Follow up on "Move to another photoseller":After purchasing an offer for 80 EUR, I was informed I needed a business tariff because the purchase was for my company, despite not using the additional features. This lack of transparency initially led to my disappointment. Depositphotos responded promptly, acknowledging the issue and confirming that the individual license is suitable for my business needs.In fact, after clarifying my needs, I was switched to the individual plan. I am very positively surprised by the genuine interest in providing a good offer, in this case, the adjustment to the individual plan.Thank you to the support team for resolving this issue efficiently and professionally.
