Outstanding Property Management – A Real Asset to Dexter
I have been living in this property for 18 years, and I can honestly say that Viraj has been an absolute asset to Dexter.
To be completely honest, when Dexter first took over management, I was extremely unhappy with the change and found the experience quite frustrating. However, since Viraj took over managing the property, the entire dynamic has changed for the better.
Viraj consistently demonstrates excellent customer service. He is always professional, respectful, and approachable in his manner. What truly stands out is his reliability — if I leave a message, he always returns my call, and he is attentive and proactive when dealing with any queries or concerns.
It is rare to come across someone who genuinely listens and follows through, and Viraj does exactly that. His professionalism and dedication have made a significant difference to my experience as a long-term tenant.

Canary wharf offices leave unavailable properties on rightmove and other sites including their own. This is dishonest, disappointing, time wasting and unnecessary when it's so easy to remove them. I suspect they are left on to give the impression they have more stock than they actually do.
The team at Dexters have been exceptionally efficient at managing my property which has been really reassuring as a first time landlord living overseas. Harry Lofthouse was able to ensure that the property was let within a couple of weeks, Aisha Riley has been a great support at managing the property and Andrzej Szczepaniak has helped managed everything on the payments front.

Unfortunately our experience with Dexters Property Management has been extremely disappointing from the start of our tenancy.
We moved into what should have been perfect for us, that was not handed over in an acceptable condition. Multiple issues were present from day one, many of which should have been identified and resolved before a new tenancy began. Instead, we have spent the last four+ months repeatedly chasing basic maintenance, unclear timelines, and unresolved problems.
The most serious ongoing issue has been damp and mould. I raised concerns about mould and humidity even at the viewing stage and was reassured there was no issue. Shortly after moving in, visible mould developed and personal belongings were damaged. Despite reporting it immediately, the issue has dragged on for months with slow progress, minimal proactive updates, and no clear accountability.
What has been most frustrating throughout is the lack of ownership. Issues are passed between staff, communication is reactive, and resolution only seems to happen after multiple follow-ups from us. As tenants, we have had to spend significant time waiting for contractors, coordinating access, and what feels like managing the process ourselves.
Dexters have offered small gestures such as vouchers and wine, but these do not come close to compensating for the disruption, time lost, and the stress of living with unresolved property issues for months.
For a premium rent and a professional managing agent, the service level has been far below what is reasonable. I would not recommend Dexters Property Management based on our experience.

My experience with a local estate agent in Ealing for my last three tenants has been extremely disappointing. The decline in their service has been shocking, and I have decided I will never utilize their services again.
When my second tenant left in 2023, the agent failed to provide a check-out report. Initially, I believed everything was handled correctly. However, after my third tenant moved out, I found several items missing from the property. The current tenant claims those items were absent upon his arrival, and they are also not listed in the check-in report provided by the agent. This indicates the items went missing with the previous tenant — an oversight that should have been noted if the agent had done their job. Additionally, I learned that the freezer drawers were damaged by the second tenant, and I was never informed about this.
Their communication has also become unacceptable. The agency used to call whenever there was something that needed attention, and I had made it clear that I prefer phone calls as I may not check emails promptly. Despite this, they ceased calling altogether and then attempted to shift the blame onto me by stating, “We emailed you.” I have reached out via email twice specifically asking for a call to discuss these matters, yet both times I received no callback — only further emails that evaded the essential question: what exactly was I paying for?
To make things worse, between the second and third tenants, the agency quietly added a new clause to their contract indicating that any visit or repair exceeding £60 would incur an additional percentage “arrangement fee” — on top of the existing management fee. This was never disclosed or explained, leading me to feel it was a deliberate attempt to extract more money from landlords without transparency.
To say I am frustrated with the way they treat landlords is an understatement. Their lack of accountability, poor communication, hidden fees, and failure to safeguard my property have entirely eroded my trust. I am now in the process of selling my flat and will not be using this agency — or any related company — again.
The representative was very responsive and communicated clearly, ensuring I understood what was needed. They recognized my work schedule and called at times that suited me better or emailed when that was more convenient. I had a fantastic experience!
The team from the local office was incredibly helpful and communicative during my move into the flat. Despite some initial issues, they were friendly, polite, and always available to assist. I highly recommend collaborating with them!
