Review Time
So ive been having ongoing problems with dfs im severely disabled I paid cash instore 2 weeks ago for power recliners to suit my needs £1677.00 I got rid of my furniture after they confirmed delivery that delivery didn't turn up customer services from both delivery company and dfs was well below par admitted by themselves, they couldn't give a date for delivery because of stock delays my issue is if you have no stock of said items why take my money last week I was told I could have refund manager would send me link so I could input my bank details (even though they should be giving me cash has that's how I paid) this email has not been forthcoming so im struggling to get my money back i can't buy else where has i can't afford to and I will be lucky to get furniture this side of Christmas im upset and heartbroken all rolled into 1, I contacted them yesterday they said 21 days before it can be processed ( even though was told 7 to 10 days by manager and the CEO said they would issue it quicker ) today I contacted them 3 days before they will contact me so enough is enough will contact Solicitor today, I'v emailed CEO 4 times about all of this no 1 cares! If I could give this company 0 I would so let down sat in my bed till they decide to pay up!
Experience was very good . Had great help in choices sizes colors and what would fit and what would not . From beginning to end a joyful time, can wait to receive our new corner unit , with 5 yrs guarantee on spills and accidents , no limit on how many call outs. 🥂
I believe that my report is going to be the first of many! 12 weeks ago I ordered two 2 seat sofas which were delivered within 2 weeks. Delivery guys were great and helped my wife and I put them in situ no complaint at that point. I also ordered at the time a single reclining chair. Unfortunately the delivery date was kept to 12 weeks and stating that the chair would be delivered to DFS on the 11th of November. The date was changed to the 25th at the last moment. After all the time waiting I contacted the call centre and appeared to get the most unhelpful agent available. They were unable to give any reason as to the delay and had no record on their system. Also that they would get a person to call me back with a reason for the delay. So at this present time I have not much confidence in a firm date. All I can state is that watch this space!
If I could give a “0” star I would. I purchased quite a few things from DFS that included a dining set, 3 beds, 3 mattresses, cushions and some other items. We spent quite a lot of money in one super king size mattresses that was supposed to offer the comfort needed. It’s quite poor quality. The springs go down on the left side to the point that it looks like a hole.the mattress was purchased at the end of 2023, according to customer service is out of guarantee and said that they could only provide me with a third party company telephone number and they could do maintenance to the mattress at an extra cost. Regarding the dining set, the leather of the chairs are peeling out.
Two years into owning a DFS Freya sofa and it is still giving a horrible strong glue odour of every day, had the service team out to look at it and it a quick spray of fabreeze, they were told it wouldn't solve the problem as it is a glue issue, really disappointed with their attitude and furniture, stay clear of these cowboys
We ordered a sofa on 18th September as it was in store and was marked fir immediate delivery. Now nearly a month later it is still sitting in Edinburgh warehouse when it should have been sent to Glasgow. It still hasn't been uplifted from Edinburgh and because it was "immediate delivery" we got rid of our old sofa. Now we have nothing to sit on and their lousy customer service cannot tell us when it will be delivered. All in all a poor show. I know where we will not be going should we need to renew sofa... Anywhere but DFS.They say they have 4.8 customer review score on Trust Pilot.... Well this is one unhappy customer who in their experience a 1 star review is all they are worth
