I purchased a laptop from this service, and from the start, it had issues. The first one had function key problems and a faulty plug. After returning it, the second laptop had an unactivated Microsoft license and the same function key issues. Now, I'm on my third laptop, which has a dead BIOS battery. I decided to change the battery myself. Do you want to deal with this? They did offer me a discount at the end, but the experience has been frustrating.
I ordered a computer from them around first of July well it never arrived. So they agreed to ship a replacement. I asked this company to please make it to where Fedex would need the signature of the person receiving said package if i wasn't home. Well the date it's showing package as being delivered Fedex wasn't even at my home. I don't know where the Laptops are. They aren't wanting to reimburse me. I've filed with Paypal, bbb.org, fedex and seeing who else i will need to go through in order to get my funds back. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I should have read reviews before ordering because i see the same thing has happened before. This isn't the proper way tp run a business. I don't know if it's this company fault or Fedex. I just want my money back. I was out of town on the day the delivery was supposed to happen but my son was home and my neighbors were watching also for me. No package was delivered
I ordered a pc that came with 2 monitors. The PC worked great but one of the monitors would not work correctly. The replaced it with a monitor that was 11 years old and in worse condition. The said that they could not replace it if the monitor could turn on. BEWARE OF THE BAIT AND SWITCH!!!
I just purchased my second refurbished computer from Discount Computer Depot and I am even happier with this purchase. In my experience, their refurbished computers are indistinguishable from a new one. My "new" Dell 9020 with an i5 - 4th gen quad core processor is fast and smooth and quiet. I got this desktop computer WITH 22" monitor, keyboard, mouse, and wifi adapter for less than $100 thru walmart.com. Everyone I have ever dealt with, both in sales and support have been pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. But here's the truly extraordinary part: when you leave a message, they get back to you asap. When they tell you they will call you, they keep their word. That is a treasure these days. Their products exceed expectations and the prices will leave you speechless, except for the involuntary giggle as you shake your head in amazement. The service is great, whether it's the sales team or the support staff, and you have to feel good when you buy one of their machines that it's good for the planet to recycle.
Purchased a refurb. at Disc. Computer Depot. They sent me a PC that the side panel wouldn't open. They exchanged it for another one. Same issue, side panel wouldn't open. Exchange again, this time they sent the wrong PC - wrong specs. After 4 tries, I gave up. I returned the PC and asked for a refund.They acknowledged they received the PC and sent me email saying refund should be received within 5-7 business days. 9 business days later, no refund.Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone. After 30+ mins. I got someone. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, poor quality control, and a messed up company is what you will be dealing with. Good luck if you do business with them.
