To be fair nowhere in the advert did it say they were genuine Makita batteries but nowhere in the add did it say they weren't haven't used them in anger yet but so far they work and fit time will tell

Follow up on "Not a Makita battery"

Since the publication of this review the proprietor of Discounted Deals UK has, unrequested because I have used it, made a full refund. I now accept that they have acted in good faith and do believe that "customer service" is very important to them. The advertisement has been changed to make it absolutely clear. I believe them to an honest company and I do not want my review to damage their business in anyway.The product, an 18v li ion battery was described as Makita battery. When it arrived it was not. It is a "battery for a Makita cordless power tool" manufactured by another company, and in my opinion, vastly inferior to the Makita product. I think this incorrect description was deliberately misleading, especially as the photograph showed a battery with the Makita logo. I am considering taking this matter further.

Extremely happy with my order which I received today. I had placed a large purchase order and did not expect to receive the shipment so quickly.
